Hands down one of the best Authentic Thai restaurants in KK. Coming into this with various culinary experiences, and I am very picky when it comes to choosing a meal, and when something says Authentic, I expect the same experience just like how I would in Thailand.
Whenever I come across a Thai restaurant; the must orders are - PAD THAI, SOM TUM and any Curry/TomYum dish. These dishes are what makes/defines A Thai Restaurant.. if they can’t nail these main ones, then the rest are just not worth trying in my opinion.
This restaurant however, ticks all the boxes for me; Portion size, Taste, texture, Smell, etc.. they nailed all the 5 senses in giving their guests a true authentic dining experience. I loved every bit of the dining experience there. The food was phenomenal, worth every penny, Pad Thai was the best there is you can find here in KK, the SOM TUM, as authentic as how I remembered eating it in Thailand. The Tom Kha Gai… was heavenly, and very very rich. Their dessert? You guys have to order at least something from their desserts menu they are just that good.
I will definitely come back for a second visit. Probably even make this my only go-to thai restaurant in case I have cravings. Although I do have to say, your air conditioning could probably use a little adjustment because it was pinching...
Read moreIt's kinda hard to find authentic and nice Thai food in KK, since the Thai restaurant which was called 'White orchid' at Imago shut down. nowhere to be as good as there was. SUKHO is my favorite from today.. Serving foods was unbelievably fast! Ordered 1 single Tomyam prawn, salted egg squid, Pad thai, grilled prawns, mango sticky rice for 3pax
Tomyam soup👍🏻 sourness is completely perfect!! less sweeter(not a common Msia Tomyam which is used milk much).. we requested to make it not spicy.. The least spicy u can.. It was still little kicky...we gobbled up until the bowl seems like no need to wash though.. The pad thai was much spcier than tomyam😅 we didn't expact that 🌶 flake is so spicy...the first bite in your mouth, u can't really feel that.. It will be coming slowely the aftertaste..but also very tasty!!! The grill prawns are fresh... Other small prawns in the soup n pad thai everything fresh and nice.. We like the combination prawn with the green chili dipping sauce so much.. Even tried the fried squid dipped into that sauce.. good as well
Next time I wanna try the steam lime fish the most, some other side dishes, dessert too.. P. S don't save money for Tomyam soup.. Go for a big family size! We were regret to order...
Read moreBack again last night (23.08.2025) Red Saefood Tomyam (5/5) the seasoning was good this time. Not salty like before. 2 Pineapple Fried Rice (4.5/5) the frozen mixed vegetables was the reason the "missing" 0.5 stars. Overall the taste is good but the frozen vegetable spoilt the dish. Personally, frozen vegetables makes the dish looks/taste "cheap". Pandan chicken (5/5). Nicely marinated Mango Sago (5/5)
The music played last night was a bit loud to have a proper conversation. Staffs were attentive in making sure the food is good.
01.01.2025 - Lunch Ordered Mango Lassi - 4.5/5 Lemongrass Ginger fizz - 3/5 (Not much taste of either) Red.tom yum (seafood) - 3.8/5 (Varieties of seafood but a bit salty) Pad thai (seafood) - 3.8/5 (Didnt mix tje sugar on the side but the dish tasted sweet than savoury) Totally different from my experience at Thailand Pandan chicken - 4/5 Crab fried rice - 3.5/5 (The portion is good for sharing. But the fried rice is a bit blend) Mango.sticky.rice -.4.5/5
