Horrible service, no proper handling of the crowd. DO NOT COME HERE.

There was already a line of people waiting to sit at a table because apparently they’ll only serve once you are sat. However, no waiter/server said anything about how the shop operates. Because there is no control AT ALL, there are multiple sneaky customers who ignored the queue and grabbed a seat at a newly vacant table. When one of the workers was informed of this, we were only replied rudely with “I don’t know, I’m busy working” even though she just took that person’s order.

Serving time is horrible, there’s only one ice shaver, with the person shaving taking his sweet time. All the servers are constantly confused with which order is for which table, which increases the waiting time for those queueing in line. Not recommended. Don’t know why it’s rated...

This hidden gem delivers a delightful array of flavors with its traditional Malaysian desserts and snacks. The cendol is a perfect harmony of rich coconut milk, gula Melaka, and chewy green rice flour jelly, beautifully complemented by soft red beans and crushed ice for a refreshing treat. The ais kacang brings an explosion of textures with finely shaved ice, sweet syrups, and vibrant toppings.

The savory offerings like pai tee and popiah basah are packed with flavor—fresh, generously stuffed, and drizzled with sauces that add a tangy, spicy kick. The ais kepal, a nostalgic favorite, bursts with sweetness in every bite.

While the space might be cozy and parking a bit challenging, the vibrant ambiance and mouthwatering dishes more than make up for it. A definite must-visit for lovers of Malaysian street food...

Unfortunately, our recent dining experience was not up to par. We observed flies landing on the open containers of popia sauces and fillings, which was concerning for hygiene. The ais kacang was disappointing, with the dry grapes (kismis) and red beans having a sour taste. The cendol also lacked flavor and had an off-putting taste of old coconut oil.Furthermore, the table we were seated at was not clean, and the service was slow. When we provided feedback, the response was somewhat dismissive. While the location may be popular, based on our experience, we would not recommend this establishment and do not...

We love cendol and were quite disappointed with the famous cendol with the mural boy so we goggled cendol nearby and found this place. I must say it’s such a hidden gem. The coconut milk in the cendol was so rich and perfectly balanced with I’m not sure if it was gula Melaka or coconut sugar? My husband fell in love with aiz kacang here. The popia was so yummy too and so did the pie tee. One time I asked the staff to not put beans on my cendol and they replaced it with so much cendol! We visited few times during our stay and the taste seemed to get better each day! Visited end of April to early May 2025

Friendly owners and very yummy desserts while otw back from tropical spice garden. This cendol's gula melaka is so much more fragrant and lots of cendol, kidney bean. Also tried their mango tnt, 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream (feels like tilamook vanilla) with mango sauce, lots of dried mango and popping boba. Very nice and satisfying, the mango sauce and boba didnt have the usual medicine aftertaste. Will come again in my next trip to Penang
