Waited 20mins for a piece of ayam goreng to go with my nasi lemak. Ordered kueh tiao goreng which tatsed ok. Drinks were bland, service was lame. They do not have soupy stuff such as mee soup. Nasi campur choices were not as great as other branches. Nasi lemak looks more like nasi kandar. The long awaited ayam goreng tasted bland as well. Not crispy nor tasty. Such a huge dissapointment. Not recommended. Better go have a hearty nasi lemak ujong pasir which is more satisfying.

The environment is really nice. I would suggest to come early in the morning around 8am. Parking space is also plenty around the place. No parking fees for weekends. The plus side, so far no one smoking in here. Most probably because many signage were put clearly. Can see from the picture. Would I go here again? Yes! Location is nice, food taste also good (the sambal is not to spicy, just nice), plus the environment as stated. 👍

This restaurant truly lived up to expectation. The food, which is quite similar to Penang's nasi kandar, is just outstanding. Not only that. You will be spoilt for choices as there are just so many delicious items to choose from. One word of advice - ask for kuah campur. It is simply worth it.

Came here for nasi kandar with variety of lauk.

Unfortunately, when we reached here almost everything left nothing. And when it cam to our turn, literally no chicken left with only prawns and sotong left (ayam masak merah or ayam madu also none).

When being asked, when will the chicken be ready, the worker there answered rudely. I was asking nicely but was being scolded as if I couldn't wait. Bro, i was just asking in polite way when will the chicken be ready. Why would you kept repeating "you boleh tunggu ke?" In a very rude way as if I'm urging you to be quick? You scolded as if I demand my chicken on the spot. I dont mind waiting if I could just get a definite answer. I didn't scold nor even want it on the spot.

Plus, chicken shoukd be served quickly cuz it's hot choice. When the chicken is empty, you would say "20mins". As if you only start cooking when it's finish? Why kind of nasi kandae service is this.

However, not everyone is not like them. Some are good...

This store has been in Melaka for a couple of years. I usually come across this store during night time and by that time, I do not eat heavy meal for dinner/supper. Yesterday, I have the time and privilege to buy 3 sets of nasi lemak royale (one with daging hitam, one with sotong and one with udang) for a total of RM50++. The food is delicious but this specific style of nasi lemak is not to my taste as it is quite similar to nasi kandar/nasi ganja. Pros -the portion is big and you will feel satisfied with it -the surrounding and scenary is a good place to hang out with friends -the price is standard. Not too expensive or cheap. Obviously 😉 Cons -the rice is soggy (lembik) the taste in my opinion lack of something. Maybe they should add something to liven up the taste
