It was an unforgettable bad experience. We reached at 3pm. The shop not yet open. We hang around at other shop. Finally the gate openned around 4pm. We are the first customer enter the shop. The boss still prepare the cake. We take a seat and my wife want to order the cake from the staff. The boss said not ready. Ask my wife to wait. We are fine to wait. My wife start to take photo at decorations inside the shop.
When my wife want to take a photo on the menu on the wall. Unexpectedly the boss said. 你够了哦 (Is enough) to my wife with rude voice. Like not happy with my wife because of she keep taking photo. Where on earth a cafe is limiting customer from taking photo and we not interrupting your cake preparation
After a while. We start order our food and drink. My wife want to change the raspberry cake to other cake. because she saw the boss putting raspberry without glove. Staff said cannot change. The whole process of decorating the cake is without any glove.
After a while, another two couples of customers came and then all table is seated. The shop only got 3 tables. The staff went to close the gate. After a while, new customer came, the customer try to open the gate. The staff then went to talk to customer. I think he told them, no more table and the customer walk away.
Then came another customer, they open the gate. Staff went to talked to customer. Maybe customer is asking some questions to the staff. The boss then told the customer. Don't waste our time, please go away.
We was shocked again. The whole environment and mood is spoiled. We paid to enjoy our cake and drinks.
The boss is impatient and rude. Think twice before you visit the shop. We as customer patiently waiting for your shop to open. But this is the bad service that your shop provided.
Food is just normal and overpriced.
Food preparation is not hygiene as without glove. The raspberry is directly take out from box without wash. Another thing is cat was sleeping just beside the table of cake preparation (Refer photo).

The only thing I was told was: they have nice cake. The place didn’t look like it was open but someone came out and told us to wait. And so we did. We stood outside waiting for about 15-20 mins before we were allowed to step in. Place was pretty cosy but tbh the plc could use a round of dusting/ cleaning. There was a menu but no prices. We ordered anyway. Now, truth be told, the raspberry torte & tiramisu cake were impressively delicious. They were regular sized slices but I really liked the fact that they weren’t too sweet and they were light and fluffy. Now, comes the fun part. Since I had zero knowledge abt this plc, just imagine my shock when the bill came. Now, mind you, this is Melaka. There is a minimum expectation that I would not be paying European prices (ie paying what I would normally pay in a European cafe). Edit: Heck, what I paid at this cafe cost more than what I would have paid in Berlin, even after conversion! So, how much did the raspberry and tiramisu cake slices cost? 🥁🥁🥁

I was pretty flabbergasted. Sorry guys, your pricing should be made illegal. The amt I paid for just those two slices of cake (not including other items) could have paid for a meal for 3 in KL! Honestly, I felt really guilty paying so much for two slices of cake. Our total bill actually added to quite a bit because we had drinks too!
A little indulgence, occasionally is ok but honestly I really would have rather donated the money to a homeless shelter. Sigh. What to do. Makan d. No doubt the cake was delish but the bill was definitely difficult to swallow.
Will we go back? Probably not. I’d rather support other cafes and eateries in Melaka. All the same, good luck to the chaps...

Their operating hours stated open at 3pm but when we arrived at 3pm, they said that their cakes are not ready and ask us to come back at 4pm.
What’s the point of stating your operating hours if you can’t fulfilled the hours stated? And instead, you make your customers waited another hour under the sun. We did texted them regarding their operating hours the day before, but no reply was given.
We brought the raspberries torte which costs RM24 for a small slice of cake. The operating owner is so rude when we asked simple questions. We would thought that their cakes must be sooo good and tasted like a slice of heaven for them to be so rude in the customer service industry. But such a disappointment, the cakes tasted normal and nothing to rave about seriously. It’s just another normal slice of cake, and nothing so special about it. RM24 for that small slice of cake and rude customer service, I would rather spend the money on other places.
Overall, the cakes are expensive and tasted normal. The rude and bad customer service from them made it even worse and not worth it.
There are other bakeries that have nicer tasting cakes with reasonable price and good customer service that actually appreciates...
