What an absolute pleasure to spend my Saturday night in Melaka at Vinyl Cafe. Owned by two of the most charming, gracious and hospitable people you will meet, Jason and Tara are obviously following their passion. The crowd and the vibe clearly reflect their love of music, people and vinyl. The beer was cold, the decor nostalgic and relaxed and the music, wow! That was the real draw card. During sets we were treated to the classic full bodied sound of old school records, on old school record players. Nothing beats a bit of funky 70's disco to get everyone in the mood. Massive props to you both. I will be back for sure and whomever is reading this, you should def check this place out if you are in Old...

I was standing outside the bar, hearing the good music, debating going in. Then I see the bartender/owner, Jason, wave us in through the window. Well way to twist the rubber arm!
Not long after getting inside he introduces my wife and I to others in the bar, locals and foreigners alike. Very cool place, highly recommend.
Went there in the evening on sunday for drinks but they also do a nice cafe/brunch from what I've heard. I did pass by it earlier in the day and they were playing good music then too.
If they have the record, they will play it! If not, Spotify will be used. Either way great music guaranteed.
You really ought to drop by here. The owner also does a bike tour showing Melaka's history, culture and food that you can...
