Hidden Gem in Jonker Walk: Coffeebar125+
Review: On this beautiful Sunday, we visited Coffeebar125+ after catching up with our nephew at his cendol stall during the Sunday Pop-Up events. Entering through the back door, we were immediately welcomed by the rustic charm and the pleasant fragrance of their special blend of coffee. The air-conditioned space provided a refreshing escape from the heat, bustling with weekenders enjoying the in-house roasted coffee.
My wife savored her favorite chamomile tea, served in a delicate porcelain cup. The golden liquid's gentle floral aroma and subtle sweetness offered a soothing experience. We also ordered a pizza from a backlane stall. The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust and generous toppings, with gooey melted cheese adding a delightful richness.
The decor, with its vintage wooden tables and colorful local art, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. After recharging at Coffeebar125+, we headed to the iconic Hard Rock Cafe for the World Burger Tour Selection, a perfect finale to our culinary journey.
Coffeebar125+ is a must-visit hidden gem in Jonker Walk, offering a sanctuary where flavors, aromas, and textures come together for a memorable experience. Highly recommended for both locals...
Read moreWe were driving from Muar to Penang and decided to take the scenic route through Melaka. To kickstart the journey, we stopped by this cosy coffee shop — and it didn’t disappoint!
I ordered a latte, and the taste was surprisingly well-balanced with a unique flavour. The lady bos mentioned their beans are a blend of Brazil and Costa Rica (I asked) which probably explains the smooth yet slightly fruity notes. Craving: satisfied!
The shop itself has a nice ambience — the kind you’d expect from a cafe that takes its coffee seriously. You can tell they focus on quality, especially from how well the coffee was extracted.
Price-wise, it’s RM15 per cup — a little on the higher side, but considering the location (a tourist hotspot) and the quality of the coffee, I’d say it’s worth it.
Definitely a place I’d return to the next time I balik kampung. Highly recommended for fellow...
Read moreI felt very comfortable when i visited on Sunday lunchtime. Ordered Kombucha (Red Date Longan, dabao Honey Ginger) and of cos a hot Latte which was made on the spot as I sat at the bar seat. Feels good to smell while it was made and to be served immediately.
The cafe vibe is cosy, homely and it was easy to join the conversation ladyboss and her family/friends were having. Very friendly people and I was not made to feel odd despite being alone. She said it's ok to bring food in since she can't serve food too by working alone (but people just be reasonable, dont just order 1 drink and take up all the space). Hope others won't take advantage of this and...
