Service: when we arrived at the door of the restaurant,Mr June ( restaurant manager ) greet my family and myself with a warm welcome.
At the first look, into the restaurant, the place was cozy , beautiful, and the Indian music for the feel. Mr. June, with his topmost humbleness, kindness and goodness character, made us very comfortable with him and the environment in a minute.
It was too easy to communicate with him(Mr.june) just like how a long years friends does. Also, giving us recommendations for choice of food.
Understanding our hunger and tiredness ,Mr.june ordered his chef team to prepare our order, and, Mr.june, as a manager, still took the role for a waiter to serve us drinks first , and chat with us while the food was getting ready.
Togather , we were chatting and had some laughter, that Mr.june had made our tiredness disappear and distracted our hunger for a moment, till the food came.by just nice on time .
Thank you Mr.june(restaurant manager)for the greatest hospitality.

Read moreCame here from a friend's post on IG. Restaurant specialising in briyani with riverside view. A simple all black set up with pictures of famous Indian singers. Love the background music of all the classics. Friendly service. Reasonably clean. Decent pricing. Parking can be difficult in this part of Melaka.
Sat inside due to the heat. We ordered chicken & mutton biryani. Served on a banana leaf with a side of raita & brinjal thokku. The raita is fresh & nice almost like coleslaw. Thokku was just okay, bit watery. Briyani was fragrant, fluffy & full of flavor. Good on its own. The chicken & mutton are more of a topping. The mutton was tender & yummy while the chicken was just average. Good sized portions. Drinks wise tried the paneer rose gola soda. Nice refreshing taste. Their sirap limau ais was also good.
We moved outside for a bit to enjoy the riverside. Had a couple of beers. Unfortunately they weren't cold enough so we didn't really enjoy them as much. Good views of the river though.
Overall worth a visit but nothing special for a return. Maybe if nearby can try their shellout...
Read moreit is located along the melaka river, hidden between bigger shops, but the bright green should be noticeable. when we entered, it was slightly warm so we weren't expecting much, but when the owner/servers came, they treated us with much hospitality and warmth.
the food was amazing with a very reasonable price tag. we got the seafood set along with 2 briyanis and the chicken 65.
the fish was DELICIOUS, fried perfectly on the outside and so tender on the inside. the crab, sotong, prawns, and veggies were all great too. sauce paired perfectly with the rice. speaking of the rice, the briyani was very fragrant and exploded with flavour, while the chicken and mutton is tender and yummy.
we got a couple of drinks, namely the chennai single tea, which was incredibly fragrant and warm, a must-try at this establishment.
all in all, the good service and the good food makes it a place deserving of a special trip here...
