Kumari Darbar — Restaurant in Malé

Came to Maldives for a short holiday and was looking around for good food to try. Found this hidden gem of a restaurant near my hotel, and the staff at Kumari Darbar were super welcoming. They explained the menu to me and prices were very reasonable compared to other places. I went for late lunch and had a vegetarian set meal, which was tasty and filling. I returned some hours later for dinner and had the chicken set meal, which again was tasty and came with an assortment of side dishes! Loved the atmosphere, loved the positive vibes here, loved the food and the staff are all friendly, helpful and amazing! Thank you again! I can return to London happily knowing that I tried good wholesome food...

Fantastic Indian food! The chicken dishes were amazing, and the thali was excellent. We also had the biryani, which was absolutely delicious. The fresh juices were a highlight too.. we tried the pineapple and papaya, both were super refreshing. We came here twice, and both times the food was consistently great. As for the prices, this is one of the most affordable places on the island. The owner is really kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place, really,...
