Where to start? This fine eatery is located in the heart of Valletta, not far at all from the main gate or Castille palace. It is a little bit hidden, but you will spot a sign with the restaurant's name just outside the main entrance. The decor is very quaint but attentive to detail. The setting is quite intimate with only a few tables on the inside and another couple of tables outside. We were served by the owner, Justin. His service was exceptional. He made several recommendations, including which wine to choose along with our choise of food. The food was simply sublime. The Calamari Fritti were magnificent and came with a sauce which was to die for. The fresh Lingoustines and Prawns were also delicious and light. The small "doughnuts" filled with cheese and Spanish ham were also sublime. We also shared the Risotto and the Ravioli. The Ravioli Cacio e Pepe are a must-try! For mains we had Beef Fillet and Duck, both of which were cooked to perfection and were accompanied by the most delicious Vegetables, Truffle Mash and Fries. I recently dined there and was absolutely blown away with both the starters and the mains, I ordered the steak. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. The presentation was beautiful, making the meal aesthetically pleasing. The food was absolutely delicious, with everything being fresh and flavourful. My favourite side dish was the truffle potato mash which was impressive.

The service was exceptional and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. It is a very enjoyable place with its friendly atmosphere.
