My family and I decided to try Mother Flower after reading many raving reviews online. I’m happy to report another positive experience! We were greeted and seated upon entering, the hostess was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. There was plenty of comfortable seating inside, AC was running, and the food arrived quickly after placing our order.
3 of us ordered quesabirria, one ordered pozole, and another ordered a taco and BBQ oysters. The oysters were so good, we ordered another plate for the table. The quesabirria was to die for and all 3 of us who ordered them cleaned our plates. My sister with the pozole was in heaven eating and said this was by far the best Mexican food she’s had while here in Cabo. The taco was also described to be perfectly cooked and delicious (beware when you ask for spicy!).
2 people ordered mixed drinks, which were delicious according to them (and beautifully presented). I ordered the banana water and HIGHLY recommend this if you’re a fan of cinnamon milk- it’s like horchata with banana and we ordered 4 to-go orders of it as we were leaving since everyone loved it. 2 people in our party ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was perfectly tangy and sweet.
Our total bill was about $4,000 pesos with all the food and drinks we ordered. We will be going back!
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you give this spot a try: Between the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere, I guarantee you’re going to have...

From the moment we stepped in, their outstanding customer service made us feel like cherished guests. The ambiance was enchanting, immersing us in an unforgettable atmosphere that elevated the entire meal.
Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, my taste buds were dancing with delight! The clam chowder and camarones a la diabla were nothing short of culinary masterpieces. Each bite of the camarones a la diabla was a symphony of flavors, with the perfect blend of fiery spice and delightful complexity. Those tender, succulent shrimp were like a dream come true.
But wait, it gets even better! The tortillas, made right there, were pure perfection - warm, soft, and oozing with homemade goodness. They elevated the entire meal to a whole new level of satisfaction.
Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had such an extraordinary dining experience. Mother Flower has truly mastered the art of delivering exceptional food, impeccable service, and an ambiance that leaves you feeling like you've stepped into a magical culinary wonderland. Don't miss out on this sensational restaurant - it's an absolute...
Read moreA recommendation led us to Mother Flower in downtown Cabo San Lucas. Spoiler Alert; they had the best tacos we’ve ever had in Cabo over the past few decades.
We visited Mother Flower around 6pm, and they were full, so we made a reservation for the following evening. Mother Father is a cozy restaurant, so reservations are a must.
The interior is well-decorated in what I would describe as a rustic boho chic style. The high top tables and chairs are wood, and there is seating at the bar. The bathrooms are also very clean. The menus are printed on paper, so you can refer to them and order more food.
We started with four tacos; shrimp, carne asada, fish, and pastor. These tacos were off the chart delicious and didn’t last long. We then ordered carnitas tacos and another shrimp. These tacos were so tasty, but we couldn't keep this up much longer.
Regarding the prices, they were very affordable ($4.50) for the taste quality. They also have a full bar, and the beers were $4.00.
Can one get tacos and beers for less? Yes, but the atmosphere, quality of food, and great service was well worth it. We can’t wait to get back to Cabo to visit Mother...
