Sancho's Bar — Restaurant in City Centre

This was my favorite place to eat while I was in Cabo San Lucas. I went there twice while I was staying in the Marina. The first time I went in I was looking at the menu and was in the mood for a carne asada type steak. The lady who works there (both times I went there was the same man and woman and seems like it maybe be a couple that runs it) came up and talked to me while I was looking at the menu. I asked about a steak and though it wasn't on the menu she said they could make it for me. They used the meat that they use for quesadillas, gave me a heaping serving of it with some rice and beans, and charged me like a quesadilla (which is probably cheaper than a usual steak). I also got a pina colada smoothie (no alcohol) which was mediocre for a pina colada but to be honest NOBODY's pina coladas impressed me in Cabo San Lucas. The whole town is just kind of weak on pina coladas. I did like that they put cinnamon on top of it though. I also ordered a bowl of tortilla soup. They were quick with the order and very pleasant in their service. I thought about ordering a dessert but I was too full. The whole meal was fantastic and I was very happy when the check came and it was about $15 for all of that. I was so pleased with the place that I returned a second time when I was in the mood for a hamburger. This time it there was live music playing (and it sounded really good) but the set ended soon after I got there. This time I ordered a cheese burger with fries, some jalepeno poppers, bottled water, and got the ice cream taco for dessert. The burger was good, the fries were good, the jalepeno poppers were a bit too "fried" for me- (it reminded me of a monte cristo style) and I'm used to them having more cheese involved so I wasn't too keen on those. They were large peppers though and the serving was really large. The dipping sauce was good. I also thought the ice cream taco was pretty good and enjoyed that. I actually am from Texas and I didn't really consider the food to be tex-mex style, maybe more so tex-mex menu options but it's not really the tex-mex I know. I also thought only half of the decor looked like it was from actual Texas and it looked like some sports gear from some other states got thrown in there too. We do not roll tide in Texas!!! The stuff on the walls was fun to look at anyway, and the food was great and well priced no matter what genre you want to call. I would definitely go back to this place again and recommend...

We have been customers since they opened, and the treatment has been excellent ever since. Great atmosphere, incredible service, fair prices and delicious food.

You can find almost every sport, most games, and the entire NFL (Reservations recommended). GREAT JOB GUYS!

SUPER RECOMMENDED I LOVE IT! We have been customers of this place for 7 years (basically since it opened) we have tried everything there in the menu, good portions and fair prices. The service is extraordinary, they have promotions every day and the atmosphere is super pleasant. Home of the Houston Astros. Parking in the plaza for 40 pesos an hour.

Cabo San Lucas Mexico...

Sancho's... Is a fun and family type of place with all of your sports needs. Owners Margo and Courtney ( from Texas )...will always make you feel like home and part of the Sancho's family. The staff are ALL amazing and always excellent service. They'll always have the game you're looking for from NFL MLB NHL NBA and you're College Football and any other sports needs. The food is great ( highly recommended that you go there on a Saturday for the Shrimp Boil 🍤 from 10am to 10pm ) Pink Taco is great and so is the Shrimp Po' Boy Sandwich, and Soups are amazing also. The food is Mexican food and some North American food to make everyone happy and feel like home,with specials always on Monday to Sunday on food and drinks.

Drinks are always cold and lots of Booze in them trust me. ( you must try the Dirty Sancho ) 🍹😃👍👍

Also Sancho's is very dog friendly so bring your pets...
