I had the pleasure of dining at Mercabo in Cabo recently and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms by the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and energetic, with groups of people cooking and dancing as the DJ played music in the background. It was clear that this was a place where people came to have a good time and enjoy themselves.
As for the food, the tacos and enchiladas were both delicious. The flavors were bold and fresh, and the portions were generous. I particularly appreciated the fact that the ingredients seemed to be of high quality, which really enhanced the overall taste of the dishes.
All in all, I would highly recommend Mercabo to anyone looking for a fun and flavorful dining experience in Cabo. The owner and staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the food was top-notch. It's definitely a restaurant that I will be returning to...
Read moreI have been to Mexico many times. I like exploring new places, off the beaten path. In this case, i was not pleased (which is rare). The 1st batch of chips were stale and we had to ask for fresh chips, which showed up. The fish taco tasted like the fish was quite old and I had it replaced with a chicken taco. The tortillas used for the tacos also seemed a little stale. The recommended chili relleno was good, not great - similar to American chili rellenos. The tacos were tortillas with the one ingredient, although you did have 3 types of salsa at the table. The margaritas are very tasty, but small and at $10 each, not worth the price compared to the many options available in the area. Dessert was either a churro or chefs surprise (they couldn't tell me more, so that's a no). On a Wed , it was mostly empty, with lots of flies to keep us company and compete for the food. The bill came to almost 600 pesos or $37 way to much for lunch. The staff was friendly and...
Read moreWe were 5 families on a vacation and we booked the tequila tasting at $40 per person. We decided to have lunch there and had about 50 small tacos, 5 quacs to share and 11 drinks and had a bill of ~$470!!!! This was a complete rip off. Each taco just had a piece of fish or a few shrimp or chicken. Nothing on the side. We live in New York and pay these prices in a restaurant. They charged us $20 for 2 surprise desserts we didn't order. The host just said, I will bring a surprise dessert for you. There are no prices listed anywhere. Do not go here. The tequila tasting was too expensive given we got to taste 5 types of tequila. bottles overpriced. The service is good but this place is not worth it. To put perspective, we had dinner at a fancy italian restaurant that same night and paid $235. Dinner at indian restaurant the next night and paid $260. There is no way street tacos at lunch should...
