A Delicious Taste of India in Cabo San Lucas!

Today I had the pleasure of dining at Kapil's restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, and it was an absolute delight! The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the warm aroma of Indian spices, and our taste buds were already tingling with excitement. The ambiance was also spot on, with Indian Bollywood music playing in the background, giving us a true Indian atmospheric vibe.

We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was a winner! The samosas were crispy and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, with tender chicken pieces that simply melted in our mouths. The garlic butter naan was a game-changer - the perfect accompaniment to our meal, with just the right amount of garlic and butter.

The dal tadka was flavorful and comforting, with a perfect blend of spices. The special rice kheer (pudding) was a delightful surprise - creamy, sweet, and indulgent, with a hint of cardamom and saffron.

Kapil's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients truly shines through in every dish. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent.

And the best part? The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food you get. We left feeling satisfied and full, without breaking the bank!

I came here to cabo by cruise ship with my fellow crew member and I simply had an amazing dining experience and wanted to share it with others.

Looks clean and the people seem nice. Unfortunately there is significant room for improvement. It’s seems like they are either understaffed or ill-equipped to handle how much business they are getting. When we came in there was a couple and a family eating. We gave our order and waited until 30 minutes for the first item to come. Everything was served in plates you would serve at home. The food was average at best. The naan was too thin to really be naan. Great naan is fluffy and airy and almost melts in your mouth. This was definitely not that and even felt a little undercooked.

Some constructive criticism for the owner who seems like a really nice and hardworking guy.

set clear expectations with customers when they arrive. “It will take x minutes for your food to arrive. Is that okay?” Add another air conditioner to make the temperature more accommodating for the customers because they will be there for a while and add some music to enhance the ambience Offer some complimentary papad or something to the customers after they place their order to give them something to munch on while they wait See if there’s a way to modify the kitchen to give yourself more equipment to prepare food more quickly. Also, add an exhaust in there. There didn’t seem to be any ventilation in the kitchen.

Overall as it stands, I would pass on this restaurant. It’s still our first day in Cabo but there seemed to be many...

Our destination wedding in Cabo was truly a dream come true! Everything at the wedding, from the perfect sandy beaches, to the perfect hotel ambiance and the incredibly exotic foods and fusion dinners, was out of this world! And a big part of that was thanks to the outstanding efforts of Rich Taste of India! From the very beginning, Kapil and Priyanka and their talented team from “RTOI”, treated us like family. From the planning of the lunch and dinner menus, to the selection of the savory foods and desserts, this team outperformed on every front and delivered what they promised! 👏 They were involved in every detail, making sure the food reflected our style and taste, with a wide variety of dishes. The live tandoor, authentic Indian Dishes, the delicious mouthwatering sweets, and the fusion starters, the stupendous show put on by the fire dancers for the Sangeet night, were all a big hit. Our guests were thrilled and are still talking about the flavors, the entertainment, and the warmth and friendliness they experienced and felt through the food and service provided by RTOI.
