We recently did a takeout from Everest Curry House in Cabo, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The communication through WhatsApp was super smooth and made placing our order so easy and convenient. What initially caught our attention was the Hindi music playing from the restaurant — it immediately gave us a warm, familiar vibe in the middle of Cabo. Even people on the street recommended this spot to us, which says a lot! After having Mexican food for several days in a row, enjoying some authentic Indian food felt like the perfect comfort. The momos were absolutely amazing — the perfect amount of spice, just the way we like it. Every dish had that home-cooked authenticity. The owners were extremely kind and welcoming. While we waited for our food, they chatted with us and shared the story of the restaurant. It was heartwarming to connect with fellow Indians and hear about their journey making a life in Cabo. We’re so glad we found this place. If you’re in Cabo and craving Indian food, Everest Curry House is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time...
Read moreAfter a week or two of reading all the raving reviews for Everest Curry House, I finally made my husband come try this new restaurant with me today to see if the reviews were true--and my only disappointment is that we didn't try it sooner! The food was delectable and was not only the best South Asian food we have found in Mexico (moved here 18 months ago), but it beats some of our favorites in Little India in Los Angeles (Pioneer Blvd in Artesia, for those in the know). We tried the chicken momos, samosas, butter paneer, chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, and garlic naan. Every dish was handmade with love and great care. In fact, it was so delicious that we ordered extra food to go after finishing our meal. And while I can never say anything is better than my mom's cooking (she would disown me, otherwise), the biryani rivaled my mom's and eased my cravings for my mom's cooking. The owner and manager, Hiran, was a breath of fresh air and just a lovely human who we enjoyed getting to know through the course of our meal. Thank you, Hiran and everyone at the Everest Curry House, we...
Read moreAnother fabulous and satisfying meal at Everest Curry House. Delicious authentic and Indo-Chinese food. What is Indo-Chinese Food? It is an Indian interpretation of Chinese food that combines the spicy flavors of India with Chinese ingredients like soy sauce, chile sauce, sichuan 🌶️ and other Chinese spices. We discovered this restaurant 6 months ago when we were in Cabo and shopping at Diamond International where we met the owner of the restaurant, Sam, who also happens to work at Diamond International. We had an amazing lunch there that time ordering authentic Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes.. This time we went for dinner and had authentic Indian dishes of Butter Chicken and Butter Naan. We also ordered with Sam’s recommendation an Indo-Chinese Chile sauce stir fry shrimp with bell peppers and onions along with chicken friend rice. For drinks we had Mango Lassi that Sam made fresh for us. All in all it was the best meal we had during our trip. We will definitely come back next time...
