MoM's cafe & Bar (Mo2'S Delights Pokhara old name) — Restaurant in Pokhara

Previously MO2 (which came highly recommended all over the internet), the owner is now operating under Mom's Cafe and Restaurant. The atmosphere is very clean and bright. There's a small balcony section or comfy, cushioned seats inside.

Food is amazing! Portions are great and price is very affordable. The only con is the wait for food, so come when you are just about to get hungry so you can feast! Plus side—at least you know the food made to order and is freshly cooked.

We ordered a chicken Biryani (accompanying yoghurt is amazing!!) and a veg chow mein/kothey chicken mo:mo combo. Hot sauce is yummy and very unique (cumin based).

Note: the restaurant is slight hidden—you have to enter from 13 Street and go up one flight of stairs. Signs will help direct you and you will instantly be greeted with friendly faces from the kitchen.

I rarely bother leaving bad reviews, but I had a pretty disappointing dinner here. We ordered two kinds of momo, a couple kati rolls, and drinks. It took about 25 minutes for us to get the momo (and our drinks, for some reason) even though there were just two other tables seated. The fried momo we ordered were so burnt that it was difficult to pierce them with a fork. The C momo we got were pretty good though.

The kati rolls took another 20 minutes after the momo. They were large and filling - taste was ok.

Overall, food was ok - in my opinion, not worth it with so many other options in Pokhara. With faster service, I'd give this...

Family run, English speaking extremely clean restaurant and utensils! The husband & wife both came out to greet and check on me. They let me use their phone charger & asked if I needed the fan on. The boy server although a little shy was very polite and you can tell he's eager to learn. I had the soybean salad & veg kothey. Both were well presented & delicious.
