No frills eatery run by a sweet older couple, felt like we were dining in an extension of their home! It’s just the 2 of them running everything so do be a little patient, it’s worth the wait :) Food was delicious and my mum and I went for both dinner then breakfast the next day, practically licked our plates clean. The Peanut Sadheko was so fresh, the Veg Chowmein damn tasty and the dal bhat was delightful. Our mango juice was also from fresh mangoes. Prices are super affordable too! We paid about 1000 rupees for 3 dishes and 2 drinks. This is the spot to visit for some authentic Nepali food cooked from the heart ❤️

If you come to Pokhara and are looking for a good place to eat, be sure to stop by pandey restaurant. You can taste Nepalese cultural cuisine full of the chef's sincerity. I have traveled all over the world, but this place is by far the best. We visited and take a take-out. The various Nepalese foods here are all wonderful. Fantastatic food and sweet owners. We were here two nights in a row because it was so good! Is located a bit away from the touristy restaurants by the lake which meant we almost had it for ourselfs. They really know how to make the food taste well and atmosphere is very local. The only people who ate there aside from us was there both nights as well😆 They also gladly explained some of their dishes. Go here instead of by the lake!!!

Came here for the reviews and it did not fail!

Didn’t even take photos it was that good we wanted to eat it up straight away.

We had grilled chicken - even the vegetables tasted amazing. The chips were proper homemade chips too.

The cheese chicken momo were recommended on these reviews below - we almost didn’t bother but so glad we did they were banging!

Definitely will be heading back again before we leave - and we don’t tend to go to the same place twice.

Lovely woman cooking/serving us. Felt like a cared for business and it showed in the flavours of the food too.

The Taste was very good, food was very Hygienic, Service was very good, Tried having Chicken fry (Kebab), Chilly Chicken, Tupka, Paneer Momos, French fries, Veg Thali Everything was very good tasty & superb care by the hotel persons,
