Mount Kailash Hotel boasts a beautiful exterior that captures the essence of its majestic namesake. The structure is divided into two sections: the old and the new.

Old Section: The old side of the hotel is clean but feels a bit outdated. While it maintains a certain charm, it could benefit from some modernization to match contemporary standards. However, the cleanliness of this section is commendable, offering a comfortable stay for guests who appreciate a more traditional ambiance.

New Section: The new section spans floors one and two, featuring average rooms that fall short of expectations in terms of maintenance. Housekeeping services need significant improvement. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had been used but not properly cleaned, with unchanged bed sheets. As someone who prioritizes hygiene, this oversight made the first night uncomfortable. Fortunately, the staff responded to our complaint by preparing the room better the following day.

Breakfast: The breakfast experience was disappointing, to say the least. It was arguably the worst we've encountered, with even the basics like tea being poorly prepared. The lack of quality in the breakfast offerings detracts from the overall experience of staying at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mount Kailash Resort. The room was very modern, well-furnished, and exceptionally comfortable. What truly stood out was the bathroom – one of the best we’ve experienced among hotels in Pokhara, featuring a spacious layout and a luxurious large shower head.

Room service was excellent and timely, ensuring our needs were met throughout the stay. Our dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well-varied. A special thanks to Mr. Kamal Khadka, who went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made our mornings truly enjoyable.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, frequently checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable. Their genuine care and service made our stay even more memorable.

It’s a shame that there’s no option for a negative rating because this resort truly deserves one. Our visit here was the worst experience we’ve ever had. The Food and Beverage manager’s behavior and attitude were extremely poor, making our stay very unpleasant. The service was inadequate, and when they served fish with a bad odor, our complaint was dismissed without any acknowledgment of the mistake. The food quality was subpar, hospitality was lacking, and overall service was terrible.

During our last visit, I even found a cockroach in the water heater (video also added), and the room service was equally poor. We were attending a significant event, and to our dismay, they prohibited any dance or music, which further dampened our spirits.
