Sorry I am little late to write review but I have too many amazing memories attached with it 💕. I visited in November 2021 and enjoyed every bit of staying here. We booked family suit including breakfast. At first like in general in India, I wasn't expecting too much space there, but it was like 2 bhk flat in hotel. It includes full functioning kitchen where you can cook anything. Fridge, oven, induction everything was there. Now come to the location , It's barely 100 meters away from the Phewa lake. You can start boat riding next to the hotel. Now the best part - Hotel manager RAMJI. As the name suggest he is Ram ji in behaviour and providing every solution to us. Just tell Ram ji what you want and its at you footsteps at very economical fare. He arranged everything for us, like pickup/ drop from airport, Paragliding booking. Local sightseeing. All the very minimal rate. We even compared this and normal rate were much higher. He even arranged Mustang trip for us but unfortunately due to weather condition we couldn't go. Paragliding was amazing, Phewa lake is in approx 7 km area so you can enjoy full day. If you're planning with family or bachelor or with friends, Just contact Ram ji and you are in safe hand. Apart from that, I was able to book all the trip without paying 1rs advance. It was most memorable trip...
Read moreLocated at the 7th street, a few meters from the lakeside main road, hotel has a peaceful environment but also is not far from the Pokhara hustle and bustle. You can have a pretty good view of Fewa Lake and the mountains. Breakfast they serve is pretty good and overall a pleasant experience regarding food. Rooms are neat and have a good ambience.
However, a mixed bag regarding hospitality. While the staffs are polite, they are equally stubborn and resistant. Me and my friend both were given rooms at first floor whose full room sliding windows towards verandah facing the streets would not be locked. We requested them for change of rooms. First, they told that all other unoccupied rooms were under maintenance (which was not true). And secondly, when we expressed our objection regarding security of rooms, instead of commitment regarding a minor repair of the window lock , the manager insisted that they had 'lockers' at ground floor where we could keep our valuables. Childishly resistant and hesitant to address our grievance in any manner whatsoever.
They also insist / persuade you to defer the room cleaning services and cut off the room amenities if you are having a long stay. Very hospitable in words but not quite in service.
Update: Hospitality unchanged. Same old attitude- resistant and hesitant esp. receptionist and...
Read moreHotel City Inn Pokhara truly exceeded our expectations. Arriving late at night, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel instantly welcome. Their assistance in guiding us to book a cab using the InDrive app showcased their dedication to guest satisfaction.
Our room was not only impeccably clean but also offered a jaw-dropping view of the majestic Himalayan mountain range. The panoramic scenery, especially during late December, was simply breathtaking. The clear visibility of the mountains added a magical touch to our stay.
The hotel's strategic location, within walking distance to Fewa Lake and surrounded by a variety of restaurants, made exploring the area incredibly convenient. We found ourselves immersed in the vibrant local atmosphere within a mere 5-minute walk from the hotel.
The mornings at Hotel City Inn started on a delightful note with a delicious breakfast, adding to the overall positive experience. The combination of excellent service, a pristine room, and stunning views made our stay memorable.
