Our gender reveal with elegance style and grace. We heavily communicated , visited the venue more than twice , met the staff and venue manager before hosting our gender reveal here. Utilised the fibre optic lights drop down to show whether we were having a boy or girl ❤️ an amazing experience and 1 I will never forget. The one sets a great example for 5 star hospitality, the entire ambiance is sexy right down to its finest details in our meals, the little touches of elegance in the light up menus and the rolling mood lighting was just quality meets the eye. Our attendant Kunil was a major key role who put fine in dining and his service was effortlessly immaculate, a great asset to The one!! This Boujee lounging deserves the 5 star + rating and I can not bring to light any fault. My bestie & I came here for a date night. I took her as a surprise after having a cheeky few cocktails at Eleven (also stunning btw) neither of us had been it was our first time coming here also nobody we knew had been here before no idea why?! Maybe a lack of content on their socials not too sure. I’d known about The One for awhile & had been dying for an excuse to go! We were both pleasantly surprised with our visit. Such a nice elegant vibe, intimate setting inside & we had the entire rooftop balcony to ourselves. The views from up there are gorgeous we loved that u could see all the way to the end of Colombo up to the lights on the hills. Staff were lovely & even offered to snap a few pics of us before we left. What i will say is we couldn’t help but smell the KFC downstairs while we were up there & ended up getting us some on the way back down. So that’s definitely a win...

We went to The One Restaurant & Bar to celebrate a special occasion because it is a new restaurant in the Christchurch CBD. The restaurant's website says it is "an exquisite, brand new French restaurant" and so we were excited to try out another great local restaurant. Unfortunately, The One is NOT The One! There is nothing exquisite (the lights are cute) or French (other than the escargots) about the restaurant. The customer service was ordinary - I'd booked in advance but it was like they weren't expecting us; the food had no mouth popping exquisiteness that the French (and other Christchurch restaurants) are renowned for and the crème brûlée was stodgy and served in a soup bowl that could have feed three!
