Kaya toast is a popular Singaporean breakfast dish consisting of toast spread with kaya (a sweet coconut jam) and often served with butter.
Taste: The combination of crispy toast, creamy butter, and sweet kaya jam creates a delightful flavor profile. The kaya provides a rich coconutty sweetness balanced by the butter's saltiness.

Read moreExtremely hot inside. Stuffy. I want to order curry chicken rice. It is only 8.10PM , but they refused to take my order. They said cannot dine in. I say okay, i'll take out, then they look at each other, hesitating. I don't know what's going on. But I assume they are closing? Its weird, it is only 8.10PM . They are refusing customers. There is another customer in front of me, wanting to order kaya toast, but was rejected too. I think they only serve drinks? Not food. Why? Anyway , me, my boyfriend and the other customer left, because we cannot order our food at 8.10pm... I feel like the staffs don't want to have customers. Lol... you have no customers, and you still reject customers. All restaurants beside are full house and busy at 8.10 pm, yours is empty and stilll refusing customers. Im really surprised. Have you changed your closing hours or last order hours? I am from Singapore. Im disappointed to say this is not the way Ya Kun...

I ordered their Cold Tea-C, expecting a balanced milk tea flavor. Instead, it tasted almost entirely like evaporated milk — overly sweet, creamy, but with none of the tea taste you’d hope for. It honestly felt like drinking plain milk with sugar rather than a milk tea.
For food, I went with the Steamed Bread Set with Peanut Butter and Kaya. The description sounded great, but the reality was disappointing. The peanut butter spread was extremely sweet, almost like dessert, with only the faintest trace of kaya. It felt unbalanced and definitely overpriced for what was served.
Overall, I found both the drink and the food lacking in flavor and value. Given the price point, I was expecting much better quality. Unfortunately, it was not worth it for me, and I don’t see myself...
