It is +32° today in Prague and inside of the establishment it must be at least +45°! No question to sit inside or out. Out are 3 tables, one occupied by staff drinking chilled(!) wine, others - by customers. We debated if in this heat a Thai soup across the road would make the trick but then one table was vacated and we stayed. We sat outside for 10 minutes until one of the waiter girls suggested us to go inside and order what we want: they do not have table service. So, inside we went and ordered borsht, gazpacho, khinkali and a bottle of Kindzmarauli. The food was great, 5 stars of five. The red wine at +45° is called something else, so we had to wait until it is cooled down to the street temperature. Nonsense. While we were ordering, paní Mančo showed up behind the counter for a second but did not greet us or looked in our direction. Too busy, I guess. This place must be for friends only and customer's money does not provide friendship. Overall: food - 5, service - zero. Let it round to 3, I am generous today. Definitely, this is NOT A...

The softness of the dough was on another level and they also use sheep or goat cheese judging from it's characteristic salty taste. It can seem like a pricey dish, but it fills you up really well. We had to wait some time, around 30min, to get our order though. The place itself is quite cosy, but I didn't like at all that you need to look for the menu written on the walls, which is not really comfortable and the place inside is quite tiny for the amount of tables an seats, so you find yourself a little bit too close to other customers, which is...
Read moreThis cute little restaurant has in the past months become my favorite lunch destination in Prague. With a daily offer of a plethora of both vegetarian and meat soups and the different varieties of fresh hachapuris, it never fails to bring a smile to my face and to make me completely full. The pomegranate brownies are to die for and the Georgian wines are great and affordable. I also love the different Georgian sodas and their signature hot sauce could be bottled and sold on a commercial basis. The decor of the place is unmatched, although the little tables can get a little bit busy during lunchtime. Nonetheless, if you have a chance, stop by and savor one of their...
