This use to be my favourite place for a morning coffee and toast in Cadiz. They still have a really good flavourful decaf coffee which I haven't found elsewhere. However now they don't have the mini serving of orange juice that came with the toast. It was a special extra that set them apart from other places. Their opening hours are unreliable, 9:30/10/10:15. Which is disappointing if you are after a quick coffee or you are meeting someone. And finally because there are only 2 people working there and one is responsible for the bookshop side - service can be slow and unfair since they aren't aware of who has been waiting...
Read moreI am surprised to see the review just before mine, as I went to the cafe this morning also and had a wonderful experience...as did the seven or so other people in the cafe at the time (or so it seemed from their smiles and actions). I ordered a coffee and pan tostada con tomate y aceite. Both were delicious...some of the best coffe I have had in Spain. The atmosphere was super mellow and warm and the two women working were very kind with me and my poor Spanish. They had a really great selection of children books, in addition to others.
