Bistro Pier One — Restaurant in Interlaken

Can't give a review for food/coffee since me and my wife didn't get to try it, However we surely got to try the Staff's rude behaviour and her bad attitude.

Me and my wife were waiting for the Oberland cruise ship to arrive and take us to our destination, And we carried some snacks to eat and try Bistro Pier One's coffee along with it, However we were treated to the right amount of bad attitude and rude behaviour by one of their female staff. She was very abrupt and even after me apologising for getting outside food/snacks on the table, She began to attack my wife with her rude behaviour, To which I did confront her and my wife told me to leave it, And so we left from there.

Bistro Pier One, You seriously need to learn something about hospitality especially when a tourist arrives to your bistro.

My suggestion is IF you're planning on having your own food/snacks at their seating arrangements outside their bistro, Might as well don't as you'll be greeted with the same...

After experiencing some remarkably rude people and service in nearby Lauterbrunnen, we were so impressed with the staff, the service, and the wonderful food at his lovely cafe. The servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating, but in a sincere way…not just a polite customer face. The way they engaged with each other was the same professional but kind and friendly manner. And the food was really delicious, as was the gelato we got on the way out. Our stop at Interlaken was one of the highlights of our week spent in Switzerland and went a long way to restoring our faith in the people who seemed to get progressively less friendly (and downright mean at times) the further West we went…thanks to this...

“It’s my last day in Interlaken, and after a tiring afternoon, I didn’t feel like doing much. I searched for a coffee shop to relax, charge my phone, and get ready for my return trip home later in the evening. I ended up at Bistro Pier One, and it was exactly what I needed. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff made me feel so welcome. They truly saved my last few hours in Interlaken.
