At Beach Bar & Restaurant - Kata — Restaurant in Karon

Restaurant is full of people but don’t be fooled. Service is slow, came in sat down took about 10 minutes to get the menu. Sat for up to 40mins waiting for someone to come take our order and no one came although there were servers walking around the place chatting with each other, had to go up to them and ask when will we be able to order. Food came fairly fast. Carbonara pasta was ok but came nearly cold. Lobster came over cooked and cold it was bearly warm,it was lacking taste and seasoning also potatoes that are meant to be apart of the dish we were told that they ran out of them because of how busy it was. Ordered a medium steak it came also not warm, dry and overcooked. People beside us that came in got up and left after 20-30mins of waiting to place an order. 6 servers were working and none of them managed to clear of tables for people that came in. People had to go sit on tables full of plates. Prices are ok but not for the quality of the food and service. Atmosphere is lovely and peaceful. Wouldn’t recommend to eat here save urself some...

This was a really poor experience. They look a long time to take orders from my friends and the restaurant was less than 10% full but they were quick to serve us the bill.

They proceeded to give us the bill when we were only halfway done with our drinks and twice within the next 5 minutes someone came back to check on us for payment, and even one employee came by with her phone flashlight on asking us if we needed help seeing the bill as we were counting our money. I can’t tell you why she thought we needed the help of her phone flashlight to see the bill other then she wanted us to pay and leave as soon as possible.

Very intrusive staff with hovering over us for payment making us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I never leave reviews but this was a remarkably bad experience and I wouldn’t come back here again even if they were the last restaurant in Thailand serving...

After a relaxing day at Kata Beach, my wife and I decided to try this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. From the start, our server, Wanna, seemed rushed and overly pushy, trying to take our order before we even had a chance to look at the menu. When we were finally ready to order, she started avoiding us, and it appeared she treated other tables the same way.

When the food arrived, it was mediocre at best—definitely not worth the wait or the price. To make matters worse, my wife ordered a banana smoothie, which made her extremely sick. I suspect they use unfiltered ice, so I’d strongly advise against ordering any smoothies.
