How is there no reviews?! Amazing spot for sushi! Price ranges from cheap to more expensive depending on your taste. The selection is quality from traditional high end sushi to fusion and grilled options as well as small omakase selections; the menu is extensive. Everyone from the sushi chefs to the servers took extra care to make me feel like a true guest. The service begins with miso soup, edamame as well as crispy little shrimps. At the end I reccomend the daifuku which is like a green tea mochi stuffed with a fresh strawberry. Just a friendly heads up for English visitors the menu is 90% Japanese & thai so you gotta ask questions or know a little about the fish names. Would reccomend to anyone going to saim square one! 4th floor! Compared to the other 2 in the same mall this one seems like the better option as far as menus go. Never once was my green tea or miso empty....
Read moreI’ve been a fan of Maguro cause of their high quality food with reasonable price but today at this branch i had the worst experience ever. From the moment i walked in. The staffs ignored me. I had to call them for them to come and clear the only available table. I ordered Salmondon, 4rawfish yum and saikyo roll. After a while the staffs ignored came and inform me that they ran out of the sauce that was supposed to come with the salmondon. and asked if i still want it. I said i’m okay and accepted it. Then the yum came. And 30 mins after that the staff came again to ask if i still want the saikyo roll cause they also ran out of saikyo sauce ….. at that point i’m just annoyed. There’s clearly something wrong with the communication between the servers and the kitchen. I was done. The service was bad. The food wasn’t up to their standard. Hope my complaint reach and hope they...
Read moreMAGURO Japanese Restaurant was a delightful find for my fiancée and me during our last night in Bangkok. While exploring the area nearby, we decided to have a final meal here, and even though it was just 45 minutes before closing, the staff welcomed us warmly. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and patient, ensuring we didn’t feel rushed despite the time.
We ordered a few simple dishes, but their flavors were far from ordinary. It’s some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had, even compared to my trips to Japan! The sashimi was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and with that perfect ocean taste. The portions, while appearing small at first glance, were surprisingly satisfying and just right for one person.
If you’re in the area and love Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend dropping by MAGURO. It’s a dining experience you...
