Greggs — Restaurant in Bristol

I travel an hour to work in Bristol and usually arrive around 6am and often make the 15 minute walk to Greggs Victoria St for a bacon roll and coffee to start my day. Sadly all too frequently I have to walk on past Greggs because they seem to struggle to open on time at 6:30am, sometimes with a sign on the door saying they’re opening 1/2 hour late or more. So I keep on going to Pret who never seem to have a problem. Such a shame as when they do manage to open as advertised, the staff and food are lovely and it is such great value. For most people a later opening time wouldn’t be a problem but I just don’t have time to hang around that long. And the odd once or twice could be forgiven but this happens far too often hence only 2...

Absolutely RUDE staff. I was literally the only other customer there with one guy, and both employees were scrambling to get his order right like he was some important person (hes just a normal British guy). I started ordering and mid sentence she CUT ME OFF to ask him, “Are you getting served?” Like seriously?? YES, he’s getting served maybe focus on the customer you’re actually ignoring!!!! It was pathetic, disrespectful, and honestly disgusting behavior. I felt invisible and completely dismissed....

I asked the personal particularly older lady if they will be baking stake bake as i like it hot and lady sad that yes they just put in and will be ready in 10 to 12 minutes, I been parked up in front of it and exactly at 11 minutes went there and asked stake bake but the older lady responded that i didn't asked them that i will buy one or i didn't pay to have it and therefore there was no freshly baked what i silly excuse.... go on greggs doing so good with customer service 👏. Went to subway next...
