ALLERGIES ALERT!!! DO NOT GO! Before deciding to choose this restaurant, I asked the staff if they had gluten-free options and made it clear that I was gluten-allergic. The answer was yes and I was handed a gluten-free menu. When I chose dessert I asked for a specific brownie, which was on the gluten-free menu, and I was given a very normal brownie, I immediately asked the lady who served me if it was gluten free and she said yes. About 10 minutes after having eaten the "normal" brownie, to our surprise, another and different brownie arrived at the table and they informed me that they had made a mistake in the order. I didn't want to believe what had just happened! The restaurant was empty, the manager was on site, neither she nor the cook came to the table to ask how I was, or clarify, or apologize for what happened, or ask if I needed anything. Absolutely nothing! After a few hours, my body obviously started to have reactions, which I had to deal with immediately. What could have ended very badly! Worst service we have had in London. It’s strange to walk in and see three people standing behind the bar and four employees just walking around dancing to the music which is too loud. The dance music isn’t my scene, but no one was dancing just having dinner and drinks. We sat at the table for a while before we thought we had to go to the bar and order, but during that time we were passed numerous times and not once did an employee inform us to go to the bar to order. Food was OK, not the best we’ve had in London. I’m mostly just disappointed about how many employees and how sparse service actually is. We tipped, but they didn’t deserve it, and the 2 for 1 cocktails were annoying, I didn’t want two of the same drink as my wife and I drink different things, would have preferred 2 for 1 drinks, I just wanted a beer with dinner.
