Went to the café, not the restaurant. The food is good but the portions are all over the place. How much food you get for a lunch box really depends on who is scooping your selection into the box. I've been here a couple of times now, and this seems to be a very noticeable pattern. The blond lady is the most generous; the brunette lady with braces not so much, and the older lady is rather stingy. You're asked to choose 2 or 3 salads to go into the box. I asked whether, of the two salads I chose, I could perhaps have less of A and a bit more of B? The lady serving me said, "that's not how we do it". I don't understand?? It's not like the box is like a Japanese bento box that comes with sections. So the portion of each salad is arbitrary to begin with. Surely, you can take out a couple of leaves here and there and add in more aubergine for me, as long as it all fits into the box? I ended up picking my "third" salad as the same one as one of the two I already picked to make it my way, but again, this wasn't after a bit of "we don't do it that way" talk, either... You can also add protein for an extra cost. Again, the size of the chicken pieces looks quite different; On one day I had a huge piece and another day a really tiny piece. I think this is an issue if you keep noticing this. (At first I thought it was a fluke and was willing to overlook it...) I obviously am not the only person who has issues with the portions, because the gentlemen ordering right ahead of me made a comment about that, too. (Staff just let out a rather nervous chuckle...) I I really like their savoury food so I feel torn about this place. I really wish I could pay for the salad box by weight (the Swedish vegetarian restaurant Tidbits does it that way). I think it would be more "fair" that way. Or be given the option to fill up the box myself. (which i doubt the owners would want to go for, since they seem to want to have certain rules in place.) I've also tried their coffee/tea corner. They have matcha latte on the menu, but they don't offer it. I was told they haven't received it from the supplier. I then asked for another tea item (also on the menu). Again, was told they don't have it. This was mid-day. Why do they have items on the menu if they're unavailable? It would have been helpful if it was at least marked on the menu, "sold out" or something. Walked out with a brownie instead. It was decent, but I wouldn't trek across town to get it. Hopefully all items will become available soon. Oh, and they don't accept cash. And the cafe section serving savoury food is not open...
Read moreWild by Tart is the kind of place that feels like a secret garden tucked inside a former power station — airy, stylish, and quietly enchanting. The open kitchen buzzes with energy, the glass roof floods the space with light, and the décor blends industrial textures with soft, organic touches. It’s effortlessly chic, but never cold.
The menu is Mediterranean-inspired with bold flavours and seasonal ingredients — think slow-roasted leeks with butter beans and truffle, wood-fired potatoes with garlic and sage, and monkfish with romero peppers and oregano salmoriglio. The wine list is thoughtful, the cocktails elegant, and the desserts — especially the buttermilk panna cotta — are delicate and satisfying. The service is warm and relaxed, striking that rare balance between attentive and unintrusive. Whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or on a quiet date, it feels like the kind of place that welcomes you as you are.

Read morea 4 on food for me, because I felt there was way too much oil in the monkfish dish I had and in the Wood fired Pink Fir potatoes. It may be that to me the salmoriglio sauce was oily, but it could be that's the consistency of it. The potatoes were delicious but again there was a lot of butter in there too. Other than that I cannot fault the food really. The monkfish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Portion sizes for me were just right. The dessert we opted for was delicious and shared amongst 3 of us, I doubt a single person could finish it! who knows...Great ambience and friendly staff. Would recommend booking - and be prepared to leave your table after the 2 hours is over. It gets busy! We went in Dec but I think it's generally a busy place. We moved to the bar area for a bit to finish our drinks. Prices are what you would expect for a place like this. Good options for veg - in fact a lot of the dishes were veg-friendly. Very close to Victoria station if you manage to take the right exit! So best to make your way towards platform 15 I think, then take the little exit next to it. Couldn't look around the shop, it was closed. A cosy place tucked away...
