Louie's was OK- Party of 8 (2 children 6 adults). They could not accommodate us inside (which was our preference). Outside seating is on a little hill, so you're sitting on a slant (somewhat uncomfortable). Service was the star of the show! Waiter was a young, friendly fellow. His service support team was all over taking care of us (extra napkins, extra drinks, waters, etc). Food came out very fast... almost too fast for dinner service (meals cooked from scratch or were they somewhat pre-made 🤔 The flavor & presentation of our dinners were OK - for example, I had the ribs with blackberry garnish (blackberries were dull in color and somewhat dried out). Menu states that the ribs are flame grilled. I didn't get that flavor profile, nor did I see any grill marks). Note: One from our table ordered a Lavender infused lemon drop. The flavor was good , but the lavender sprig garnish was all dried up with no color / not a great presentation for a signature item. I will add that the prices were reasonable, and that made the shortcomings of the experience and a little better. I would come back (1 more time) and dine inside to give Louie's a chance for a 5 Star experience.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed coming into Louie’s after hearing such good things about it and having it recommended. We walked in and had high hopes - the atmosphere and service was great! We also got fed very quickly! However, the point of disappointment came when our food came. My mom got the soup of the day, which was mushroom, and once she received it was gelatinous and had a thick skin on top. Her salad was good though! But I was also disappointed with my burger. I came in craving a juicy thick burger and got the opposite. I was shocked by how thin the burger patty was because I have literally gotten a thicker burger as a school lunch (for free!). It was extremely underwhelming, especially considering how it was a little more expensive. I hate giving bad reviews, but the main purpose is in hopes that it will grab the attention of the manager/owner. Overpriced for undervalue. I know many people love this place but it was not for us.

After a beautiful hike at the Japanese garden, a group of us stopped for lunch. The restaurant appeared to be about 1/3 full . The prices were reasonable. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, have a public bathroom to wash your hands. Our waiter was polite but we had to continuously ask him for things, finally gave up on the lemon wedges and extra napkins for our table. I had the fish and chips and a cup of soup. The clam chowder was delicious. The fish and chips however well they could have been hotter and it was definitely a frozen boxed fish. I've had better. When it was time to pay my bill I did not leave a tip on my card as I was going to pay cash on the table but the waiter made a snarling remark about. "Oh Isn't that generous No tip" despite his sarcastic remark, I still left a tip but will not be returning.

We asked for a patio seating that's directly behind the storefront bar/indoor table service area, which we enjoyed the general atmosphere that's available there. We had the BBQ ribs and the wild caught salmon. The ribs are of a spare rib type of cut, so there will be some cartilage to deal with. The ribs do not have a smokey flavor and are on the moist side of the scale indicating to me a wet method of cooking was used that was then topped with blackberry sauce, which was perfect for me. The salmon was tasty, but the portion size was about 3-4 ounces, and if you are hungry or are expecting a normal portion of 5-6 ounces, maybe you should stay away from the salmon. We also had the hummus platter to start off with, which was good too. Would I go back again, I definitely would.

Brought my son for more of the valleys' absolute best wings, plus a more healthy option for myself. My Thai chicken canoes were honestly very, very tasty! Support this place as you get 5 star service with a truly unique menu to boot ******************************************** Stopped by for lunch. We've never been & didn't know what to expect. I had off the bowl/wrap menu, the Cesar salad w/chicken. The chicken was grilled which I really enjoyed. The brown rice was also very good! The Hummus plate was also ordered, the hummus had great texture & came with very fresh veggies Next we all shared the hot wings, great crunch with just enough spice! Last, and quite possibly the best thing ordered was the hot chocolate, rich and velvety smooth. Do yourself a favor and try it!
