CamiCakes Cupcakes — Restaurant in Atlanta

This was the worst experience I've ever had buying cupcakes from beginning to end. They don't answer the phone and when they finally do it's major confusion and very unprofessional. When I finally spoke with someone and explained I would be coming from out of State I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then was told she would call me back without taking my order (I'm still waiting on that call). So I decided to order online which I was leary about that's why I was calling because it was for my best friends 40th birthday but I wanted her to have cake while we were out of town. So the day I was picking up my order I called 3 times before leaving because again I'm from out of town so I had to call a Lyft and wanted to be sure they were ready because I never received an email and no one answered the phone my friend calls from the hotel phone they pick up first ring. So when I arrived to get the cupcakes let's just say what I feared would happen happened my order was wrong. At that point I was just over them the lady at the store offered to call the owner to try to get the order right when I stated don't bother she probably won't answer and when the employee said "Yeah you're right." I knew this place was full of it. So they definitely don't have to worry about me...

CAMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!! I’m disappointed in the rest of the reviews because BABY!!!!! I’ve been trying to find something remotely close to my Auntie Sally Red velvet and the search has gone cold until today. My family is red velvet cake connoisseurs because my Aunt set the bar so high with the moisture, using real ingredients. The color is always rich and her icing is amazing. Cami cupcakes is actually very close to her recipe. I was so excited that finally something tastes & looks remotely close to hers. My only suggestion is that it needs to be a little bit more sweeter with the cake, but it was very moist even though it was probably sitting there all day. The cake still did not disappoint. For the more traditional taste I must have pecans all over my cake. I will absolutely be back seven dollars well spent. Also, the picture does not do it justice the cake slices were massive. Service was good the little helpers were unfortunately in the back so we had no idea that they were open but they were very pleasant and nice....

Terrible customer service! Passing by Cami’s at Lenox jogged my memory. Couple of years ago, they had 1/2 off deal on cupcakes (after like 3pm). I bought a dozen for a child’s birthday. My phone said just after 3p. Even asked the clerk if these cupcakes were 1/2 off now and she said “yes”. I paid and walked out. Then glanced at receipt and was charged over $50 for a dozen!! Clerk said nothing she can do. Not even an apology. Receipt time stamp says 1 minute before 3. But my cellphone had 3:01 pm (which is more accurate). I asked if I can “return” and rebuy at half off. She said no. I asked to speak w/ a Manager. She rolled her eyes & called the Owner. Answer also no, but I can buy another dozen & now it’ll be 1/2 off. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Cupcakes weren’t even that good. Some were dry & stale, even frosting was a bit hard crunchy (strawberry & blueberry were good). Even the kids didn’t finish them. Worst...
