Update: I sent an email and a follow up email to Kavi who replied to my review and I never heard anything back, so my review stands.
I used to like this place, but the customer service keeps getting worse. The staff seem to really hate their jobs.
I went on the fourth of July and a very bizarre thing happened. I ordered a frappe and the girl started to make it then, stopped in the middle to take two other orders. She then continued to make my frappe and finished it. It then just sat there behind the counter while she made the two other customers' orders!! Why didn't she give me my order?!? She finished the other two orders then gave all three of our orders at the same time. Mine was of course melted because it sat there a while while she made other drinks. I should have yelled out and asked for it, but I was just so confused. Why on earth didn't she hand me my drink? She knew I was standing right there the whole time.
I guess if I want to go to Sweet Hut, I will go to the midtown location from now on. It's a shame because this location was convenient; I went there all the time. Also every time I get the red velvet cookies at this location, they are...
Read moreUpdated on 11/04/18: I know that the management of Sweet Hut is putting a lot of efforts on keeping the same quality among all locations. They reached out to me after seeing my previous review and offered me a gift card. I appreciate their willingness to make things better. I used the gift card to buy another caramel pudding and this time it was a lot better than the ones I originally had. I recommend their Thai Milk Tea and Fruit Tart, they're worth trying.
Original Review: I bought 2 caramel puddings here and the caramel taste burnt. I’ve never had a bitter caramel pudding before and it tasted awful. I was originally buying these for my guests, now I’m so glad they didn’t have them. I’m a frequent customer of other locations but this one doesn’t have the same quality. Read moreHighly upset with my experience here. My family and I were strolling through lenox this past Friday when we decided we could use some coffee. We started looking at the menu and then the employees turned off the lights, and another couple walked up to look at the food display and then they turned off the menu screens. Never did they say a word to us. They simply just watched us be in confusion and laughed amongst themselves. We checked the time and it was 7:24 (based on the picture time) and online the store hours say open til 8pm. I understand it was a Friday and maybe they were tired, but they could have at least warned us or told us they were not taking orders. I like sweet hut but I don’t think I’ll be returning here ever again.
