The experience this time was most definitely not the same as last time. Last time the service was on par, the milk shake was delicious and the food had descent portions. Spoke with Elizabeth (store supervisor) regarding the portion of the shake. Since it was barely above half a glass, I reached out to the server to inquire about the rest of the glass. The supervisor intervened advising this is the new portion the restaurant will be providing and has been providing last 6 months. I was here twice in the last 3 months ago and a metal cup of the remaining shake that did not fit on the cup. I advised of such portion but she insisted this is the new portion. The chillidog I ordered not only look small but it looks sloppy which I do not recommend. This is the last time I will visit this restaurant. Good luck on the dying brand. *In response to the answer, the glass served perhaps was 20oz but the portion served was half the glass since whipped cream covered the other half. The way Elizabeth responded with an ultimatum rather than providing a customer service solution, and how she went to the back of the kitchen speaking about the customer in Spanish with other waiters (perhaps knowing or not I speak Spanish and was loud enough to hear) was a sign of gross customer service. But no worries, if management doesn't care, neither will I. There are plenty of choices in the area. This review only serves as a heads up for tourists and other prospect guests you might have.

Was in Atlanta, Georgia in July. Stopped in for supper the night we arrived into town. It was less than a block from our hotel. I ordered a single burger with grilled mushrooms and onions. I was a little disappointed that BBQ sauce wasn't an option as a condiment, so I settled for mayo. The burgers are not thick, but not as thin as a Steak n' Shake single. There is a pretty comprehensive list of condiments you can select from, the majority of visitors will probably find what they like. No combo meals here, you order everything ala cart. My family shared an order of fries (picture included), and yes the server brought them to us with a ketchup smiley face. Instead of the standard soda option we all ordered shakes. They have a good variety of flavor options. They were thick and filling. If you like fruity flavors I would recommend the Strawberry Banana. I will say the night we were there it took them a long time to make the shakes and serve them. We had finished our burgers and fries by the time the shakes arrived. The service was good, but it's the atmosphere that makes people smile when they walk in. The 50's diner theme makes for a fun casual environment, making me think of the show Happy Days. Right down to the nickel juke boxes at each both.

Faster than their Rockets: A not-so-hidden Gem Excellent service despite high volumes of customers and pressure to accommodate. Top notch food, service, and care that won't break the bank! The Good: We came in at an unusually high volume time of a holiday weekend while there were several major conventions going on. Even with all the chaos on the block, the hostess used their pager system to help get us seated within 20-30 minutes of our arrival and served hot, delicious food shortly after. There was ample waiting area outside the resturant to relax before going in and, once inside, the food was excellent. They really go the extra mile when it comes to attention to detail: they made cute, creative little ketchup art for us when it would have been easier to just fill a cup and dash it over. Plus, the best onion rings in the area and a level of care you can't always find. The Bad: Not alot to say here other than there aren't too many table options; this location is a bit small. Definitely somewhere we will be back to get more from. Had friends with us who came from out of town and they absolutely loved the experience. Great for entertaining too. If you want classic, casual food, Johnny Rockets knocks it out of the park and over the moon! 🌙 🚀

Honestly this place deserves negative stars but because the knuckleheads at google have not figured out that part(real geniuses they are there) I will stick to one star.

This by far was the WORST restaurant experience we had on our vacation to Atlanta. First off, we had to wait outside where apparently an older homeless man decides to camp out. Strike one! Then we get seated and a party of 8 had to sit at two booths separate when clearly there was other spots that they could have seated us. Now that's strike two! The waitress comes and gets our drink orders and brings the drinks and two of the people in our party ordered shakes. The drinks come out and no shakes! We order and find out that the burgers don't come with fries, this has been the demise of several other restaurants were you try to shaft the patrons. 8-10 dollars with NO FRIES will CRUSH you and the chain I GUARANTEE YOU! On top of that, someone in our party ordered their burger a certain way and the waitress went MIA. Another waitress was kind enough to stop by and help and we still hadn't got the shakes. This is almost 30 minutes into the visit with no explanation. That's like Strike 3, 4, 5, 6 and the strikes keep coming! Since when do you have to ask for refills? Isn't that your waitresses job? NO REFILLS without stopping by is ridiculous! Strike 7! Finally, don't waste your time asking me for more information or some STUPID generic reply!

P.S. THIS IS A COMPLETE TOURIST TRAP! AVOID...

I love Johnny Rockets, and the food here is good, but the service occasionally has been less than perfect. I went there twice during a busy weekend (a nearby convention was going on) and I know the strain that can have on food service workers, so I'm definitely not bashing them. When I went there the first time, however, there were only about 2 or 3 tables full besides mine, and I was there with a few friends. I ordered my side of fries to come with a sauce, when it came out, no sauce- no biggie. But I had to ask another 3 times after for my sauce because the waitress kept forgetting, to the point where I was already done with my entree. The second time, it was the cooks that were the problem. I ordered one of the burgers pretty much plain except for swiss cheese, lettuce, meat and bun. Long story short, the restaurant was PACKED and my poor waiter was scrambling to get my order right, but the cooks kept messing up to the point that 1. I had to get my final burger to go because the rest of my friends were done eating and 2. the waiter had to yell at the cooks because they weren't paying attention to the tickets and weren't listening to him. Other than those two incidents, however, my food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and organized, and the wait staff were mostly competent and nice. I'd recommend going, but only when they're not busy, and be very clear...
