So I came to Atlanta from NYC to visit my sister, brother in law, and nephew and the 1st place I told my sissy I wanted to go STRAIGHT from the airport was Big Dave's. Being an east coast girl, especially one who has driven to Philly for an authentic cheesesteak, and a long time ig follower of the restaurant I was beyond excited to go. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff; that southern hospitality definitely showed out. Deshaunna took our orders and she was amazing. So pleasant helpful and above all patient with me cuz I was all over the place with what I wanted lol. The salmon egg rolls with that sweet heat sauce OMG chefs kiss. I already told my sister we gotta stop back on my way home cuz I needs 2 more of those. I thoroughly enjoyed my cheesesteak, but my only problem was it didn't have enough cheese wiz for me. The white cheeses kinda over took the flavor of the cheese wiz. But honestly it was a small thing to a giant cuz between the softeness of the bread the fullness and flavor of the meat and all the toppings I was very much satisfied. Big Dave's was a place I've been dying to try and like I mentioned been following for a while on ig and I can whole heartedly say my expectations were met and my experience was great. If you're a cheesesteak lover or honestly, if you're just alive you NEED to eat here. This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with the intoxicating aroma of sizzling steak, caramelized onions, and melted cheese that instantly tells you: you're in the right place.

I ordered the classic cheesesteak with provolone, onions, and mushrooms, and it was nothing short of life-changing. The bread? Perfectly toasted on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The steak? Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The cheese? Melted into every crevice like it was born to be there. It’s a glorious, melty, meaty masterpiece.

The staff mainly “Kelow” my Server, was incredibly friendly and treated me like Family. Also, the Cheesesteak Master Chef, “Man J” made sure my order was hot, fresh, and made to perfection! I must say, the service was fast, the portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality you're getting.

I’ve eaten cheesesteaks all over Philly, New York, and beyond and I’m telling you right now: this place is in a league of its own.

If you're in Atlanta and haven’t had Big Dave’s yet… what are you even doing with your life?!

I stopped by the Downtown location and was immediately greeted with that signature ATL hospitality. Shout out to Man J, Mo, and the entire crew. Y’all brought the energy, the good vibes, and most importantly, the FLAVOR.

The cheesesteak? Next level. The bread was perfectly toasted, the steak was seasoned to perfection, and the cheese pull was Instagram-worthy. Every bite was stacked with flavor, and you could taste the passion behind it. This isn’t just food—it’s an experience.

What really took it over the top, though, was the team. Man J and Mo made sure everything was on point. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in how they treat the food and the customers. They had the whole place lit with good energy, felt like I was at a family cookout with the best cheesesteaks in the game.
