The Terrace Cafe — Restaurant in Atlanta

Not what I expected, instead of sitting in the terrace area, which is shown in most pictures, I had to sit in the regular restaurant side at the bar as I was solo! That’s not a problem at all, it’s just a very different aesthetic and atmosphere as compared to the regular cafe side! I got the bananas foster French toast with bacon and a cinnamon roll latte, and all of it was INCREDIBLE. The food came out really fast and was the perfect size meal for a day out in the city or, like myself, for a day full of travel. The coffee took quite a long time to come out, near the end of my meal actually, but I didn’t mind and all of the employees were very sorry and kind about it! From the moment I entered this restaurant, I was wowed! Rakeem met our party at the door and served us in excellence the entire time . Every morsel of food that was prepared was delicious. We shared Fried Green Tomatoes, Hot Honey Chicken Bites and Cornbread Mini Loaves. All of it was outstanding and creatively done. We were thoroughly fed after the appetizer course but couldn’t resist a stab at the entrees which did not disappoint! I had Lamb & eggs, my counterparts enjoyed other dishes. The cinnamon roll latte was really good, unfortunately the wait to get our drinks was at least 15 minutes and we were the only people in the place. My husband ordered a drip coffee and at 15 minutes asked if he could get his coffee, the girl said “I have to go upstairs to get it” while proceeding to make the drinks of the people that came in after us. It took 10 min longer to get his coffee and by then mine was more than half gone. Part of the fun of having coffee with someone is to be able to enjoy your drinks together.
