Chelsea Pizza atlantic city — Restaurant in Atlantic City

Recently visited atlantic city so with this covid pandemic food options are limited. my girlfriend and I decided to give Chelsea pizza a try since they delivered. We ordered a chef salad a grilled chicken caesar salad an order of wing dings and 2 slices of cheese pizza. Seems simple enuff right. Waited over 2 hours for food and after receiving food the chef salad had no egg, croutons on caesar salad was soggy chicken looked old and rubbery salads were warm because they were in thermal bag with other orders of hot food including my wing dings. The caesar salad was dumped and salad was in bottom of paper bag and never received the 2 slices. called driver who directed me to contact store. After contacting store the employee was very rude insisting I was lying about my order and told me I would not receive a refund and if I wanted food replaced I had to bring food back to store after going back and forth with this rude employee I got angry and my girlfriend had to take over phone call and this is how they treated her. I calmly explained I just wanted a refund put back on card as it had been over 3 hours and we still didnt have food we paid for and it was after 2am at this point. Nick the manager on duty said he could not give us a full refund but they were still going to bring the food. I told him several times we didnt want the food any longer as we had placed the order at 11:16pm and it's now after 2am. Finally after going back and forth and explaining to him that I am a restaurant manager and would never treat my guests the way we were being treated he then ask for my advice on how to handle situation. I explained that after over 3 hours with no food I would be deeply apologetic, give a full refund and food to accommodate guests inconvenience. He then finally gave refund but we had not got to eat and everything was closed at that time of night. As I was speaking with him on phone he was complaining to me about all the issues on his shift which I told him was not my concern and screaming at his employees about how much they were messing up and telling me they were about to be fired which was completely unprofessional. I order from this place everytime I come to Atlantic City. The food is pretty good HOWEVER the Attitude of One of the Twins is Disgusting!! This is the Second Time I've spoken to him on the phone for a Delivery Order and the Way he talks to You is Just Absurd. I'm spending My Money and You think You can speak to me anyway You want. My Order for this particular order was $50 for 2 people. I ordered back in September 2021 and the order was $175.00 for Me and My kids/grandkids Thank God He wasn't the person on the phone taking my order that time!! I don't know if he's the owners son or just hired help but he definitely doesn't care if You order or not. After placing the order tonight I called back and cancelled the order and told him why I was cancelling it he said NO PROBLEM!! I then called back and ask to speak with the Manager and he said there's No Manager here this time of Night (8:00 pm) and hung up on me 😂😂😂 I DEFINITELY WON'T BE SUPPORTING THEM EVER AGAIN!!! Every time I visit AC, we usually place an order during our stay and then another for the ride home. I keep it pretty simple to a few cheesesteaks and mozzarella sticks. This time, I only needed a single order of both. I called 20 minutes before closing and was even running behind because I underestimated my return walk time on the boardwalk. Nonetheless, the order was completed, and waiting for me to pick it up with no complaints from the restaurant for my late arrival. The gentleman who took my call and gave me my order was also very nice (as always). The taste of the cheesesteak was absolutely amazing (as always, and I still haven't found a better place to order from). The cheesesteaks are nicely filled with meat and cheese that covers the entire sandwich. They have great flavor and aren't cheap with requested toppings. I ordered the sauce on the side, and wow, is that sauce good!! I should've ordered another so I could have it for lunch today, haha. If you want a great steak sandwich at a decent price, get off the boardwalk (or have it delivered) and check Chelsea's out!! You won't be disappointed. Sorry, no photos... who can wait...
