I recently had the opportunity to visit Scali Cafe, located in downtown Boston. This place truly embodies the essence of a bustling morning and afternoon spot, perfect for those looking to kickstart their day with a satisfying meal. One of the standout features of Scali Cafe is its extensive menu. They offer a wide variety of options, including an impressive selection of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and quesadillas. What sets them apart is the ability to customize your sandwiches and quesadillas to your liking, allowing you to create a meal tailored precisely to your preferences. The quality of the food at Scali Cafe is decent. It's not gourmet, but it hits the spot, especially considering the affordable prices, which are a rare find in the heart of downtown Boston. It's a budget-friendly option for anyone looking to grab a meal that gets the job done without breaking the bank. Additionally, Scali Cafe offers the convenience of online ordering through their website. This is a fantastic option if you're in a hurry or simply prefer to skip the line during the busy morning and afternoon rush. Overall, my experience at Scali Cafe was positive. It's a reliable choice for a quick, customizable meal, and the affordability factor in downtown Boston is a significant plus. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying sandwich, or a pick-me-up coffee, Scali Cafe has got you covered.

A rather small place with a bunch of really nice people working and owning the business. It's an order at the counter place then you either pick up or they bring you a tray with your food. The portions of the service a fairly large and neither of us could eat all of what we were served. I strongly suggest that you order a half order of the potatoes as I got a metric ton the day I visited. The only thing I didn't like was their reliance on plastic utensils and Styrofoam plates. All of which will likely end up in a landfill. Also the steps up to the front door are extremely steep so be careful, loose your balance and it would be a painful fall. As stated earlier I had a chance to visit the owner who purchased the place from the original Italian owner and this new owner ( for like 12 years if I recall) was/is very nice. There are no restrooms from what I observed (didn't ask) so be aware.

I haven't been here in about 20 years. They still have delicious food. I can't say they've improved because everything here is perfect. Location, food, accessibility, food, customer experience, food...did I mention food? I was there for breakfast and ordered the eggs, sausage toast and home fries. The home fries were chunky goodness, Fluffy eggs with chedder accompanied by thick sliced wheat bread and sausage links. Definitely hit the spot. Don't wait 20 years to come in for breakfast or lunch. Although takeout and delivery is readily.

I am a resident Of Rhode Island. This morning in specific I came up to Boston, for an interview did not want Dunkin or just some regular coffee shop, for breakfast. I wanted something with flavor, I wanted something with spice, I wanted something fresh to drink, I wanted to not want I need for more food after I was done with my breakfast. That's exactly what I got, add Mexican omelette with bacon onions peppers and cheese, how did some chicken and grilled jalapenos....OH MY, OH MY, after walking around the area for 30 minutes, I found a place that was super affordable, & super delicious. Customer service was on point, environment was fresh. I will be back for lunch and other meals in the...
