I've gone to this bar with my friends several times with only positive experiences until this Saturday (the day before St. Patty's). This Saturday, my friends and I received amazingly good service from this waitress with dirty blond hair wearing a red shirt; unfortunately I did not get her name. During our time there another waitress (dark hair with black shirt) kept coming by to provide service right after we had been serviced. Oddly enough, instead of our first waitress coming to ask for payment, the second one came. The issue was once I began to give a tip, which I believed the first waitress deserved 20%, where this second waitress was standing over me and telling me that my tip was too low. Given that my friends did not witness this and that I didn't want to create a scene, I felt trapped into tipping higher. I didn't even get my receipt. This waitress was unprofessional and I fear the tip was stolen from the one that truly deserved it. I hope other's notice this waitress' behavior and that management resolve this before other waiters and...

Tucked away in Boston’s bustling Financial District, The Chemist Bar is nothing short of a hidden gem. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a memorable night out, this place delivers on all fronts—ambiance, creativity, and unmatched hospitality.

The real magic, though, happens behind the bar, where Jesse—the heart and soul of the place—turns mixology into pure art. Watching him work is like watching Picasso paint: effortless, captivating, and brimming with genius. He doesn’t just make drinks—he crafts experiences. Every pour, every garnish, every shake tells a story, and by the time your glass hits the bar, you feel like you’re part of it.

The drink menu is bold and inventive, with just the right amount of scientific flair. True to its name, The Chemist serves up cocktails that balance flavor and presentation with almost alchemical precision.

If you're in Boston and want to see bartending elevated to an art form, go to The Chemist. And if Jesse’s behind the bar? Settle in—you’re in for something...

Chemist is one of the most laid-back cocktail bars I’ve ever visited. The space is open and comfortable, with plenty of seating, making it easy to relax. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.

Their cocktail menu is a real standout—presented as a little book that gives the bar a unique vibe. Each drink is accompanied by a detailed description and a picture, so you know exactly what you’re getting. We tried the Old Tom’s Long Drink and the Bitter Yolanda, both of which were fantastic choices.

In addition to the creative cocktails, they offer some quick bites like sandwiches, burgers, and nachos. I went for the Chemist Quesadilla, and it did not disappoint! Plus, they accept credit cards, which is always convenient. All in all, Chemist is a great spot for delicious drinks and a...

As the honorary first customer at The Chemist Cocktail Club’s grand opening in the Financial District, I was delightfully surprised. The sophisticated decor and thematic details set a magical stage. The drink menu, presented as a crafted journal, unfolded narratives of flavors resembling a concoction recipe. Meticulous attention to detail, from presentation to taste, showcased excellence. Beyond liquid artistry, culinary offerings created a symphony for the senses. This inaugural experience at The Chemist was a journey into upscale speakeasy elegance. With its inviting ambiance, it's destined to become the go-to spot for post-work gatherings, promising a magical escape into refined taste and camaraderie.
