I have had catering from Pavia about 6 times at work. The size of the salads are very generous but the quality of the food is lower than any other spot I’ve eaten at downtown in over 20 years. In a day and age where fresh, farm to table, local, and healthy are buzz words, I don’t understand how anyone could choose to eat here. For example, the salmon on the salads is horrible tasting, not sure if it’s frozen and reheated or just old, but it’s fishy and bland at the same time. The combinations are odd. Why does a Greek salad have a mound of shredded Carrots? Why does the Cobb have a scoop of strange tasting guacamole instead of avocado? Why is the chicken sooooo processed? Read moreThe food is excellent, I had a chicken cutlet sub, and it was so delicious. I wish the sandwich was a little bigger, but that is definitely not a complaint it really how good their food is. I also took a pecies of lasagna home, and it definitely hit the spot. They also have a great selection of food, and some of those sandwiches they were making for other guests look so good that i can't wait to try something different.
