My husband and I ate here this morning and we both ordered the biscuits and gravy. He ordered a hash brown as well. The biscuits and gravy came with 2 bacon wrapped sausages as well as 2 eggs. I got scrambled and he got fried eggs. The food could have been a little warmer but it was still good! On the other hand, we did not get our drinks, not even water until we were mostly finished with our meals. We also waited quite a bit after we had received our meal plates to even be handed our utensils. Food was good, the place was nice, with the service short staffed, we understood why things were the way they were. These people were very kind and friendly, despite their short staffing. Everything was clean, there is limited seating but we got sat right away. Also keep in mind parking is limited during rush hour breakfasts and the busy summer seasons as should be expected. We liked it here and would eat here again. Husband rates the food a 4/5, service 4/5,...
Read moreWe wanted to try something new for our breakfast out and found The Brunch House. Atmosphere was great with "Home Cafe style" and good menu items. I will say the prices are a bit higher for the quality of food. I noticed folks said the B&G was good, so I tried em, not impressed, taste like package gravy, and not homemade biscuits, which is what I would expect for the price. Sausage links were good, and the wife said here bacon and French was as well. I will say I am really picky with coffee.. and I thought theirs was good! I wanted to still give 5 stars overall with hopes that the restaurant can get away from package style, and make from scratch. The service was quick, and appreciate that, however these 2 servers were acting like the place was on fire! Find a balance, and dont forget to check on your guests. I will return here for breakfast for...
Read moreThe service was excellent and the food was beautiful, but it didn't live up to expectations. The quality of ingredients seemed good, but it lacked flavor and was bland. My son got the lemon ricotta pancakes and said he was worried he had Covid because he couldn't taste anything. I thought he was exaggerating, so I tried it. Nope, he was right. Not sweet. Not tart. Nothing. Not even a hint of lemon. I had the Ultimate Omlet and my wife had the Vegetable Omlet. They were good, but just not quite there. She smothered hers in hot sauce to kick up a notch. All in all, the service was good, the atmosphere was great, the prices were reasonable. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. It was meh. I think what let us down was how amazing everything looked and our expectations...
