This place has absolutely delicious food. You can go here and get something a little different and step away from the usual chain restaurant food.
Order online for pick-up, which is very convenient. Fully customization orders. Downside is not being able to select a time to pick-up. It defaults to 30 minutes from the time you submit your order. Pay online or when you arrive.
I had several different panini sandwiches here, and none disappointed. Tried fish tacos...amazing! All of the food is fresh and of high quality. Yes, it is expensive. But you get what you pay for.
I had the sweet potato fries once. They're waffle style, so kinda greasy, but still good. And the sauce they give you is awesome. Regular fries aren't bad, home-made chips also good. Or you can be healthy with "field greens" as your side which is a simple salad of dark, leafy green lettuces and small tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette. Excellent choice there. Sizable portion, too.
Inside the decor is warm, inviting, in a modern way. I didn't eat inside, only had take-out several times. Each time the order was correct and fresh.
I'd like to give it 4.5 stars versus 5, but I rounded up because this is a restaurant that seems to really care about quality. The reason I don't want to give it the full 5 stars is the price. It's still a bit pricey even for the quality.
Update April 2024 Have had takeout several times in the last few months. Food is always tasty. The last time though, ordered a paninini without cheese and I am suspicious that they removed the cheese after cooking. There were cheese remnants. That's fine, but I hope they wore gloves! Check your food if you have special requests!
Sweet potato waffle fries are awesome. Cuban paninini is divine. Pork is never fatty and always tender. Sometimes the chicken on a panini is a bit dried out in my experience, but flavor is...
Read moreEverything was pretty good! I got a pesto panini and if you've ever been to Starbucks, it tasted very similar to theirs but instead Café Del Sol's is with mayonnaise and an avocado spread I believe. Also I think the one at Starbucks is turkey instead of chicken? The chicken in the panini here was in long chunks and it gave me a little trouble eating it so if you also think you may have trouble, just take the chicken out of the panini and take a fork and tip it apart a little. Then you can put it back in between the bread and it'll probably be better now. Also the lemonade tasted a little odd to me like it was from a mix. I know they probably have to do that because a mix is a lot faster than making their own lemonade but maybe they could get some pre-made lemonade from somewhere? I don't really know how those things work though do I'll try keeping that to a minimum. All in all the actual place is really nice. It's very spacey for a smaller restaurant and there's art on the walls in the booths where you sit and I'm reminded of a modern art gallery when I come in. The service...
Read moreWhat a friendly and yummy place to eat. The entire experience was very pleasant and enjoyable. The wait staff was so friendly and easy to talk to. The food came out quickly and was packed with flavor.
Recommend that crab and chips, the pizza and the panini sandwiches. The crab dip and chips dish was done surprising well. When the dish is presented to you, it gives such eye pleasing affect with the layers of the chips and the toppings. Very colorful and definitely perks your appetite. If there is a bit of chives or parsley for additional color and garnish, it would be perfect. The chips are thin, crisp and not greasy at all. Also very strong so it is a great mechanism for the crab dip.
Pizza is handmade and cooked in the fire oven. Again, done very well. The dough is the right thickness, when you bite into the pizza, you don't feel like you are eating nothing but the dough.
Panini sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients. When you have good and fresh ingredients, it elevates the overall taste by default.
Relaxing atmosphere. Family...
