Not a bad experience but not one I'm eager to repeat. Ordered a Cuban sandwich and cold brew, both of which I'd describe as "fine". Cold brew was half ice and the Cuban had way too much mayo, but neither one was bad. Thing is it cost me $16. There are places within easy walking distance where you can get either one of those better and for a bit less money. Staff is friendly and service is quick, just don't expect a bargain or anything to write home about. Oh, also they cut the Cuban sandwich lengthwise, which I've genuinely spent hours thinking about and can't think of a good explanation for.

Every sandwich is absolutely delicious… hand made and with fresh and local ingredients. The owner works every day they’re open to ensure every sandwich is the highest quality. I personally recommend the Sprouted turkey, the breakfast burrito or the Italian Stallion. Awesome little patio to enjoy your meal with lots of fans and greenery! A lot of reviews complaining about the prices but I paid $12.xx for a panini and thought that price was very reasonable!

It took 35 minutes to get a horrible and boring wrap. Didn’t even finish it because the back half was only lettuce. At least put dressing on the lettuce if it’s the main ingredient. Barely any chicken in the chicken wrap. The person I ate with got a cooked sandwich 20 minutes before me. If whoever owns this place is proud of their operation, they need to look for work in another industry.

One of the best tuna sandwiches that I've ever had in my life. I really got the sense that they truly cared about what they were doing and everything oozes quality. It's not just a sandwich shop.

They use fresh, high quality ingredients, and they work like they're making some kind if contribution to society. They are. My mouth is part of society.

Do you know how hard it is to get a good burrito in Charleston? They make the kind of food I miss from Southern California.....it feels like I'm at Laguna beach in there. They even play surfing videos!

They also have extraordinary customer service. They have striven to go the extra mile every time I've been there: giving cookies or fruit to my kids, offering to help me move, you know little stuff like that.

The prices are on the higher side but you could split their food with two people, easy.

Ice cream! Wonderful iced tea in an iced tea town. Nice outdoor seating! Better than everything on...

The menu looked pretty good here and I work in walking distance so I figured I would check it out.

The staff member who took our order was a bit terse in his communication. Not typical of Charleston. No smiles or anything.

That was probably because the temperature was pretty hot in there and it was crowded with people waiting for food by the time we left. We luckily got there with just 3 or so people ahead of us.

Not that lucky though because it took about 30 minutes to get the food so service was a bit slow.

I figured it was going to be worth the wait since so many people were there, but the food was just ok by Charleston standards. Our food here is so good. This food was just passable.

Passable food isn't good enough for the price. Then when you factor in the uncomfortable waiting area and the long wait times it really isn't a great experience to come here.

I'll stick with brown dog deli or east bay deli for downtown...

So I just found out the name of this place and I'm so excited I can finally write a review because it's been 2 years but I still constantly rave about this place. We were in Charleston for a Dr's app in 2021 and I was very pregnant. We were there early and trying to find a place to eat and we walked all over town while I was pregnant and miserable and it wasn't a good time. Finally it was almost time for our app so we gave up and started to walk back to the car. This place was right next to where we parked so we decided to try it cause I was starving. We both got Cuban sandwiches and let me tell you it was the most amazing Cuban sandwich I have ever had and I'm half Cuban!! I love this place I literally tell everybody about it and I'm so glad I finally know the name!! I can't wait to go back it's worth the 2 hour drive! Definitely go here it'll change...
