Apparently you can order food at The Social from Public House’s menu since they share the same kitchen, and that I did. By far the best Cobb salad I have ever eaten in my life. Tons of tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, sliced avocado, and fried chicken that was to die for. The ranch tasted homemade, and the deviled eggs with the candied bacon was definitely a nice touch. This was my first visit to The Social. I worked my first job at 16 in this same spot, back in 2003 when it was the Polo Ralph Lauren store. It was super cool to come back so many years later and see the space utilized differently. Cool to see that they’ve kept some of the building’s original architectural features from the 1900s. Warehouse Row has so much history and it was a pleasant experience to see it still used and appreciated to this day, especially while enjoying a fantastic lunch. I’ll definitely be back.

Delicious food and drinks. It was super busy when we popped in with no tables available. However, my husband had grabbed a drink at the bar while the girls were shopping and and a table happened to open up by the bar so we snagged it. Servers were friendly, my drink was delicious (unfortunately they were fresh out of crickets so I did not get the pleasure of that oddity in my drink). Can't remember the drink name but it was good. They were slow on bringing the ranch so my fries were cold when I ate them but the steak was delish. The chicken looked yummy as well.

Great vibe in the restaurant and great service. Nice place to come for drinks and it’s a beautiful bar! It’s on the pricey side. I ordered a charcuterie board which comes with 3 picks, and I ordered 2 cheeses and soppressata . It came with the tiniest pieces of cheese and only 3 small slices of soppressata, with lots of bread and a mountain of fig jam. The portions didn’t make sense and for $14 I felt like it was not good value. I’d come back for the drinks tho!

Came in for the first time today for a happy hour lunch and sat at the bar. There was no one at the bar when we sat down and one 2 top. Took 5 minutes for us to be acknowledged and handed the wrong menus - had to go find the right one - and another 5 minutes for waters to be dropped In this time a man, a regular I would assume, sat at the bar. The bartender was serving the table and making their drinks. I told my fiancé we’d let her drop the drinks and see if she took our order before just walking out, having already waited 10 minutes. After dropping the drinks, the bartender went and greeted the regular by name and started taking his order. My fiancé and I walked out after this. I understand being busy. We were barely acknowledged from the time of walking through the door, not even a “welcome in”from secondary staff polishing glassware. I’ve spent my adult life working in service, and specifically 2 years in fine dining. You always acknowledge the guest, you always take orders in the order of who entered the restaurant. My fiancé was really excited for us to go, saying the food and drinks are great. Really disappointing first impression of a restaurant you’ve heard good things about. Hopefully it’ll be better next...

My husband and I visited Chattanooga for the first time over our anniversary weekend. We stopped in for a quick drink while we were out exploring and ended up staying the entire day. The food was excellent and the ambiance was great, but OH MY! The staff there is the reason we could not leave. Rachelle and Nick were BEYOND exceptional and so engaging! I do not know how they do it and remain so attentive and anticipate the needs of every patron at the packed bar. Magic?! We were so pleased with the service that we returned the next day and spent a good chunk of our time there yet again. We now tell everyone we know about this place and the incredible staff and are even planning a return trip to the area based solely upon this experience! Nick and Rachelle are an invaluable asset to The Social and we cannot wait to...
