Dock’s Pool Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Clearwater

Sophia was our server on 7/30/25 around 3:30 PM, and she was an absolute joy! She went out of her way to make our kids feel special, and her kind, caring attitude truly turned our day around after a disappointing experience at Eskpades. I understand both spots may be under the same management, and that’s fine—my previous review was simply to bring attention to how guests were being treated there.

This review, however, is to highlight the stellar service we received from Sophia at Doks. She completely redeemed our experience at Club Wyndham. The food was great, the drinks were even better, and the overall atmosphere has kept us coming back daily since Friday the 25th. They even bring food and drinks right to the pool!

Ordered the grouper sandwich thinking it would be a healthier option. To my surprise it was about 6 to 8 small pieces of fried grouper. Also the side is a big stack of fries with no option of substitution other than chips. For the hefty price of $23, I truly expect something better.

Be AWARE there is forced gratuity of 19%. On top of that, they still overcharged me! For a grilled cheese and grouper sandwich it ended up costing $44 and that is with the hotel discount of 10%. There is a restaurant just steps away that serves better quality.

Great service and great view. Food is cafeteria quality at best. I ordered a grouper sandwich that came in a round bun with a bunch of tiny filets. It tasted a lot more like cod than it did grouper. For $22 this sandwich was not it. I've had way better locally for less. My wife got a 16 quesadilla the size of a taco bell gordita. I would never come to eat here again but the drinks were good and the server was awesome.
