How hard is it to serve three people at McAlisters in Collierville, with ten employees and no one in line! It literally took them OVER an hour to get our three meals out and even then, mine never came. They did however bring us six different incorrect meals. The one salad took 45 minutes. Twice they put two parts of two of our orders on the same plate. We asked three different people, four times for one spud! Never got it!! I asked to speak to the manager more than once, and she would not even look at me much less speak to me. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me a refund, said they were too busy to stop. There were other customers having the same issues, but when we got there at 4:30, we were the only ones there. I have to say, I’ve never had a more frustrating experience at a restaurant. Their service was inexcusable. McAlister's Deli in Collierville, Tn was a HUGE, frustrating disappointment. I would not recommend going. I asked for the general managers information and they told me they did not have it. We ended up leaving after an hour and 15 minutes without me getting my dinner and them refusing a refund. I have never seen more clueless employees than I did tonight in one restaurant. The frustrating part is you have to leave a tip when you order your food, so I left a 25% tip that they also refused to return. The manager refused to look at any of the frustrated customers, and even though there were 10 employees there, she refused to speak to anyone. The poor young girls at the cash registers did not know what to do. At one point, they brought me a meal that was not mine and threw it away while the gentleman that ordered it had been waiting 30 minutes for it! One couple went to the register several times because their order was wrong and just ended up eating the last thing they got. As they walked out the door, they said they never did get their correct order but was too frustrated to wait in line to get their refund. I definitely expected better in...
Read moreIf I had to put a number on it, I’m probably batting 0 for 100-ish when it comes to getting a takeout order that’s actually accurate. It’s like a game I never signed up for—"Guess What’s Missing From Your Dinner!" Spoiler alert: I lose every time. Bros, your wives won’t be thrilled. You’re gonna have to comb through every single order. You’ll still mess up. #losing
The food? Oh, it’s solid. That’s the only reason I keep coming back, like a moth to a flame, or maybe more accurately, like a moth to a flame-grilled chicken that I specifically asked for without onions… yet here I am, picking onions off. Again.
Customer service, though? Let’s just say if they were any more apathetic, they’d be napping. A smile? You’d have better luck finding a unicorn in the parking lot. A polite response? That’s apparently off the menu too—totally non-negotiable.
Good food, terrible execution. It’s been like this for years, but I guess I’m finally at my breaking point. Consider this my formal (but still hilarious) complaint. Enjoy the laugh, but please, for the love of spud, get my order...
