BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse is a popular dining chain that has garnered attention for its extensive menu, vibrant atmosphere, and extensive selection of craft beers. I recently had the chance to visit one of their locations, and my experience was overwhelmingly positive, making it clear why BJ’s has become a go-to spot for many.
As soon as I walked into BJ’s, I was struck by the lively ambiance. The layout was spacious, with a combination of booths and tables that provided a comfortable setting for both families and groups of friends. The decor was a blend of modern and rustic elements, featuring wooden accents and large screens displaying various sports events. This makes BJ’s a great place not only for a casual meal but also for catching a game with friends.
One of the standout features of BJ’s is its extensive menu, which offers something for everyone. From appetizers and salads to pizzas, pasta, and hearty entrees, the variety is impressive. I started my meal with the famous BJ’s Brewhouse Nachos, which were piled high with melted cheese, jalapeños, and a generous helping of guacamole and sour cream. The nachos were delicious, with the perfect crunch and a delightful balance of flavors that left me wanting more.
For my main course, I decided to try the Deep Dish Pizza, which BJ’s is well-known for. I opted for the Pepperoni and Sausage variety, and it did not disappoint. The crust was thick and buttery, providing a wonderful base for the rich tomato sauce and generous toppings. Each slice was loaded with flavor, showcasing the quality of the ingredients used. The pizza was hearty enough to satisfy even the biggest appetites, and I appreciated the ability to customize the toppings to suit personal preferences.
Another highlight of my visit was the drink selection. BJ’s boasts an impressive array of craft beers, many of which are brewed in-house. I tried their signature BJ’s Brewhouse Blonde, a refreshing and light beer that paired perfectly with my meal. The knowledgeable staff was more than willing to provide recommendations, and I appreciated their enthusiasm for the various brews available. For those who prefer cocktails or wine, the drink menu had plenty of options to choose from, ensuring that everyone could find something they enjoyed.
Service at BJ’s was excellent throughout my meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our drinks were refilled and that we were satisfied with our orders. The staff seemed well-trained and knowledgeable about the menu, which added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable dining environment.
Dessert at BJ’s is not to be missed. I decided to end my meal with their famous Pizookie, a warm, cookie-style dessert served in a skillet and topped with ice cream. The combination of warm cookie and cold ice cream was heavenly, and it was large enough to share, although I was tempted to keep it all to myself! The Pizookie comes in various flavors, making it difficult to choose just one, but I can confidently say that it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
In conclusion, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a lively dining experience with a diverse menu and a great selection of beers. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a place I would highly recommend to friends and family. Whether you’re visiting for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a night out with friends, BJ’s has something to offer everyone. I look forward to returning and trying more items from their extensive menu, especially the various flavors...
Read moreTLDR: NEVER order from online pickup
So I place my order at 6:19pm while I'm work. I had a taste for BJ's and I haven't had it in a while so I did an online pickup like I usually do. They say it'll be ready at 6:50pm so I map out that next hour around getting there on time.
I even double check to make sure I got the right location. I get notifications on my phone that the order is getting packed. Notification on my email that the order is complete
I arrive at the location and no worker is to be found at the checkout counter. That's fine. They must be busy. I wait an additional few minutes and someone comes out. I give the nice woman my order name and she goes to the back
Nothing for 10 additional minutes. Okay, I have patience. As long as I get my food, right? Someone comes out and give the people behind me their food first. Okay that's cool I guess. My order was slightly big. They leave to go back for an additional 5 minutes. They come back out and I give them my order name again.
"Apparently their system is lagging out" the kind woman says. I'm getting slightly annoyed but I don't mind it because as long as I get my food, everything will be fine... Right? Wrong.
At this point, I've waited an additional 30+ minutes for my food that said will be ready at 6:50pm. A man comes out and asks for my name. I give him my name and email stating that the order is complete.
He tells me that they don't have my name in the system and there's nothing he can do unless I reorder. I waited an entire 30+ minutes waiting with nothing to show for it besides a pending charge on my bank account. I'm wondering if they didn't have my name in the system because it was already completed (based on my email)
I'm just curious if they gave my order to someone else and didn't realize it.
Luckily it's a pending charge but now I'm worried that it'll still charge me since the notifications on my email and phone stated that it's complete
Anybody thinking about ordering online pickup... Please just go in person because if their system messes up, you're out of luck. This has never happened to me in the many years of me doing online pickup at countless other places. I'm also not the type to be leaving 1 star reviews. I'm truly appalled at...
Read moreUnfortunately, I think this was on of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I was meeting my mom and her friends for happy hour and I arrived a little after the party was already seated. The waiter didn’t greet me or tell me his name. He held all appetizers to come out at the same time. By the time we got them 2 of them were cold. One of the appetizers we ordered, I guess they were out of and he never told us it just never arrived at our table. I guess they were also out of sliders so instead of letting us know they cut one burger into 4 peices. The server never gave us refills or cleared the table of old dishes/ plates. He was extremely rude to one of our guest at the table. It’s almost like he specifically picked her to be rude to. When she asked a question he already answered to another person at the table (she didn’t hear when the other person asked) he rudely said “as I said before..” The margaritas were great though. The fried food tasted like straight grease. He brought our pazookie and no plates. Then took so long to come back to our table with plates that all the ice cream melted. The plates he gave us were dirty so we couldn’t use 2 of them. For some reason he said he couldn’t split the checks so it was all on one. Then the woman he had been rude to all night asked for boxes and he handed another woman her box and handed the woman he had been rude to the check for the entire table. I actually had to laugh out loud at that because he was being so blatantly petty. He didn’t put any of our items on happy hour although we ordered everything well before 7. So we had to get the manager. The manager was apologetic and was easily able to split our checks up but didn’t comp anything. She also mentioned that this was not the first complaint this evening about Fitzgerald. The table next to us waited 30min for him to give them a straw then ended up having to ask another waiter for straws for their drinks. Between all of this we were there 3 hours total. I was so disappointed. I love trying new happy hours and I feel like Fitzgerald went out of his way to make our experience miserable. Even with how nice the manager was and how good the margaritas were, I will never be back to...
