KFC — Restaurant in Coronado

Whenever I get delivery from here the chicken is not fresh like they cooked it an hour ago and it’s been sitting under the heat lamp, and the sizes of the chicken are comically small. I got a drumstick in my combo and it looked miniature (like 2 inches long) I don’t know if it’s the employees or the company itself sending them smaller pieces so I don’t know who is to blame…but I feel like when you get delivery they know you won’t call them out on this stuff. It sucks because I don’t know many other places to get regular fried chicken on Coronado because otherwise I would shop here every other week. I just feel if I’m spending $15+ on a 3 piece combo it should be at least...

Just beat the lunch crowd, but still had to wait a while for the order to be ready. It was a hot day and it seemed like the A/C seemed to be struggling.

But the food was worth waiting for - big bucket of crispy chicken with 2x Cole Slaw and 2x Mash Potatoes & Gravy, 8 Biscuits and the Lemon cake. Everyone was very pleased with the food and the food was still hot when we got it home.

The restaurant seemed clean and orderly, however, I have to confess that I wasn't paying too much attention.

There is also a Taco Bell with the KFC which is a plus in my mind. I would go back if I was in the neighborhood and wanted KFC...

Last night we ordered the $20 fill up with the chicken nuggets, fries, chicken and biscuits. Everything was good but the chicken nuggets. They were gray, dry and looked like they were rolled in sand.

We also ordered 2 famous bowls and they were topped with the same nasty nuggets. Im assuming they were either old or overcooked but the coating didn’t even look right. It was only around 530pm so they should have been fresh.

My question is …. Why would the employees even think it was ok to serve customers these instead of making a new batch??? Very disappointed with this location.
