Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Dakotas Steakhouse, and would love to share my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. Every aspect of my visit, from the ambiance to the food, service and staff surpassed my expectations. The service at Dakotas Steakhouse was nothing short of impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing a memorable dining experience. From the moment I was seated, I felt like a valued guest. I took my partner here for our anniversary with high expectations and they surpassed them.

Arrived valet was on top of their game. We entered got seated quick great hostesses. They had a pianist playing at the entrance which was very elegant and amazing touch to the atmosphere.

Brandon was our server for the night which he was the best server I could ask for. Very knowledgeable over his own menu and history of location. Him and his team were top notch and professional. Ask for him 10/10 They started off with bringing us some bread it’s nothing crazy compared to other locations but it was good. We got some tater tots off the appetizer selection which were full with flavor.

I ordered a Ranch Water and a Paloma and were very good compared to what I’ve had at other great restaurants. The smoked old fashion smelt amazing from the table next to us will most definitely try next time I come.

My girlfriend ordered a Prime Rib Eye which she loved and I ordered the Wagyu. Which came out on a salt platter. I was able to pick out a special knife which doesn’t mean much to me but very great detail that the restaurant has for their guests. In order was Filet far left, New York in the middle, and last but not least the Rib Eye at the far right on the salt rock. Best in my order is the Filet, Rib Eye, then New York. For our sides we ordered the Au gratin potatoes which were great. Other places you have to really force your way through the layers these were cooked to perfection spoon cut right through everything. The Mac n Cheese was our other side it was amazing as well hard to top.

We had free dessert we were planning to order but we were treated with free dessert. Which was a velvet layered cake I’m not a fan or red velvet myself but this one I can make an exception for. After dessert they also brought out a small plate with some chocolates which were rich in flavor and great.

Overall atmosphere was great we sat near the water fall which my partner loved. We also got offered to get a picture taken care of that the staff took for us thank you all. My final ratings go as follow.

Food: 10/10 Drinks: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Presentation: 10/10 Value & Cost:10/10

Well as a person who works in the customer service field I fully understand how this business works. I’m a Sports Agent for one of the largest agencies in the world based here in Dallas, we have some of the biggest names in the NFL,MLB, and MMA. I say that because I was planning to introduce a lot of our players to this establishment. Now my complaint has no bearing on the food seeing I haven’t been able to try. Mine is based on customer service. Might I add I’ve also managed several restaurants as a Louisiana native so I’m familiar with this field as well. One thing I’ve learned is always listen to the customer, don’t debate in a rude manner and 9/10 the problem can be reconciled with no issues. Now to my complaint which is pretty minor but enough to make me not want to come here. Called in to make reservations 2 days prior for a party of 8. Hostess explained everything perfectly other than hours of operation. I wanted to make reservations at 4pm Thursday, and if you google this restaurant it says 4pm-10pm, so I simply mentioned that, but she said they don’t open until 5pm, which is fine if need be. She put me on hold came back and said 4 is not an option. I said ok no worries I just wanted to state it says 4 online so they’re aware. She puts me on hold again but this time a guy comes back. I explained the situation to him to make him aware assuming he’s management. This is where I didn’t like the conversation because it goes from me just trying to make them aware so there’s no confusion in the future to him starting to debate me, saying “Are you sure it’s this location because I I’m pretty sure it says it on the website 5 o’clock” so I said yes as I read the address and then proceeded to say “Well I’m sure it’s on the website as 5” once again. Mind you, he doesn’t have a friendly welcoming tone, more of like I was annoying him. So finally I was able to finish what I was saying and tell them it’s on Google when you pull up this address just wanted to make you all aware. Now it’s not a huge deal but don’t make ppl out to be liars or incompetent when I’m just trying to help. Just off this encounter I’ll never bring our players or myself to this restaurant.
