When a restaurant has only one thing on the menu…it better be damn good…but it def was not! This place has only one burger choice…no variations or additional toppings. And what’s the point of advertising Wagyu beef if you cook it extra well done…my patties were seared so hard they were almost black. It took over a half hour to receive my order, so I spent a lot of time watching the line cooks prepare the food. It was shocking to see the fully dressed burgers go straight from the grill to a warming oven…and when I finally received mine, it was not hot, lukewarm warm at best. There was one bartender who split his time between taking orders and making drinks. There is no notification that your order is ready other than a faint shout from the kitchen window. There’s no one working to clear and clean tables, I had to do that myself. Two burgers, one fry, a beer and a marg was over $70! Will I be returning? "Not A Damn Chance"!…even if they manage to stay open for more than a few months with this poor quality of food...
Read moreBased upon the branding I definitely expected a more elevated experience. The burger and fries are very good. The cocktails are prebatched and they do not use fresh ingredients, they're too sweet and the perfect formula for a hangover. This location was very dark, dusty and very worn (even though this is supposed to be a new location). The restaurant was completely empty inside, for some reason all of the tables were dirty, sticky and the floor wasn't the cleanest. The condiments were used up and had drips down the sides of the bottles. I never eat outside, but in this instance it was better to eat outside and risk getting harassed by flies, than inside and not have the ability to see what's possibly flying around and biting you (I think there were gnats). The cook staff was friendly, as well as the cashier...yhe bartender was dry 🙃 Since the food is good, I hope this location stays open, just gets better standards for ambiance, lighting, and...
Read moreParking is a pickle if u don't know the area. The closest lot tried to charge $25 for the day. There is a lot on the next street to the right the apartment complex said people could park there.
My burger was overcooked and had too much of their secret sauce. Order at a temp and get the sauce on the side. Well done way waygu is a sacrilege in itself.
The front patio offers views of McKinney, but you're not really in the heart of walkers and interesting traffic. The upstairs will be open later this year, but I don't think its going to be a patio.
Going back for a 2nd try and changing my order a bit. The house-maid ketchup was fun at 1st, then became a little overbearing. Just give us normal ketchup and drop whatever your dusting the fries with. The super crispy outside is just OK, when we rally just want to...
