Snappy Salads Harwood — Restaurant in Dallas

How does a salad place mess up a salad? That's what I thought when I ordered from this place. Surely a place with "salad" in the name will know how to make one. Wrong. I work in the building it's located and just tried it for the first time last week. The quinoa was questionable at best and their dressings have to be incredibly old. I've never seen balsamic vinaigrette be the same consistency as week old congealed gravy. It in fact wibbeled and wobbled but did not fall down. I didn't use it, because common sense came into play and instead ate my salad dry. I might have gotten 1/4th of the way through my half salad before I got to the quinoa and almost threw up. I was nauseated the rest of the afternoon. I did leave them a survey and was invited back for a free salad or wrap but after that experience you couldn't pay me to eat there. UPDATE: So I had to adjust my review since they sold me a very expensive salmon salad which 1) I watched them neglect and disregard while they were making other people's salads. It took long after I had paid before someone yelled at a cook to get it started 2) Then they proceeded to neglect the fish as it cooked, resulting in a super dry, overcooked, nasty piece of salmon and 3) they immediately put the salmon pieces on the salad before waiting for it to cool down a bit, thereby wilting the salad and worse yet, melting the plastic container it was in. This was only my second, and last time in here. An utter failure of service and I wish I had my $20 back. I had let the owners know online of my dissatisfaction with my experience, and their only response (after 2 weeks) was that they'd work on improving. Fantastic.

Was extremely surprised & excited that Snappy’s had a breakfast menu! I’m a big fan of the freshness of the salads and the fact that breakfast was also available was everything!! I tried the egg and bacon Piadina wrap which was prepared by an employee named Kim. The wrap was amazing! I could eat that every single day! She along with Ms. Billy were extremely helpful in deciding what to get; without getting everything at one time!🤣🤣.
