This is a repeat of my review on Yelp - Yelp has a way of deleting reviews sometimes. So I'm putting it here too - just FYI!
This is somewhat of a two-part review. Part 1: We've ordered pizza from here a couple times before with no issue (Domino's is our pizza of choice for cheap/quick pizza).
Part 2: Today we put in an order around 12:00 for 2 medium 2-topping pizzas to be delivered. In their (really great) online tool it informed us that it would take 37-47 minutes for our pizza to be delivered. Yay/normal so far.
An hour and a half went by...no pizza. I called the store and the customer service representative informed me that they were on a 2-hour delay, likely due to the USA Pro-Cycling challenge which was rolling through downtown Denver. Which is fine....except we were informed that it would be 37-47 minutes. Just tell me a pizza is going to take 2 hours to get 5 blocks away, and we would have walked to go pick it up, no biggie. She told me that someone had recently left with our pizza and it should be at our place within 10 minutes.
....another half hour goes by. Still no pizza. We finally got a call from the delivery driver telling us he had "been trying to get to our apartment for an hour." Which I find very hard to believe. At this point 17th ave was closed, but our apartment complex is huge and is easily accessible on 4 different streets. I asked if he could meet me on Grant (not closed) and 17th, and he said that would be fine. So my husband went outside to go get the pizza.
15 minutes later my husband came back upstairs...the deliver guy never showed. We waited another 10 minutes -- without hearing from him -- and I called him back. He said he still was "unable to get to our place." So we cancelled our order and I am hoping that charge will be refunded within the 72 hours as promised by the same customer service rep we spoke to earlier.
All in all a disappointment. 2 and a half hours and no pizza. Again - my biggest annoyance is the fact that the estimated time was 47 minutes. Just tell me the truth about how long it's going to take a pizza to travel 5 blocks. Likely will not order...
Read moreI literally had the worst experience with this DOMINOS. First and foremost I ordered my items at 9:16pm I was quoted 30-38 mins for delivery. . I’m aware that things can get backed up but this was not the case . If you order delivery you expect it to come deliver maybe by bike, car, scooter, maybe even driverless car, BUT NOT BY ANY CHANCE WALKING DELIVERY WHEN THE STORE IS 20 mins away walking distance. No wonder when I got the notification at 10:41 that my food was here and my husband was waiting for 10 mins downstairs something was up. I then went downstairs to wait with him and it still didn’t get here until 10:35. What kind of bad service is that?!? Not only Lankia or something like that when they got here and i told them the issues about my order and asked how come it took them forever to get here and why was my pizza messed up to the point there was literally like no cheese on my pizza and missing tops that they were irritated with me but I didn’t do anything but ask questions and when I asked if they could call the store because when I was waiting on my delivery driver to get here I called to see what was taking forever and NOBODY ANSWERED AND I WAITED FOR 20/25 mins trying to talk with something but that didn’t happen and my driver or should I say WALKER PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT I WOULD JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT AND THAT ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM AND THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE INTERNET ON THEIR PHONE SO THEY WETENT GOING TO TROUBLE THEMSELVES WITH MY ISSUES AND EAS JUST SO RUDE AND NASTY. I didn’t even do anything wrong just simply had a question. Not only they forgot my sauces and I can’t get nobody to answer and just help me out . I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble I just want this issues addressed and the owners or corporate to know what is going on with their store … and the sucky part is I’m not even from here I’m out of town so how does...
Read moreOrdered online at 11pm for delivery and pay with credit card and called to confirm the location drop off acknowledgment(which I received). At 11:36pm called again for the status of my order, I was told that the order was taken for carry-out by the female manager or CSR, I told her that the order was made online and it’s as a delivery, even got the delivery charged already added to my card. Female manager or CSR proceeds to tell me that my order is already out for delivery. Called again at 11:55pm to ask for my order, turns out they didn’t know about my order. Called again at 00:05 if my order will be delivered or not? After being lied by that female a few times, I am not sure if she will cancel my order or still charge me for something I never got. I got in my car and drove to the store, the moment I arrived to the store, the Dominos driver calls me to get delivery information. I made the delivery location way to clear and at an obvious spot that even google or Siri will be able to show the exact location without an issue. That location has plenty of parking and I even mentioned to park there and I will meet the driver. Anyhow, the driver was lost, even after I called and told them the exact location and I was assure they knew the already knew that well known location. I told the driver that I was already at their store within a five minute drive, but since I was the only one working I couldn’t leave the place. Got inside the store and waited another 15-17 minutes before been helped(btw, there was no one in line). At this point is already 00:17a.m., got my order canceled and got my receipt after been told that carry out was another 35 minutes wait. So, in the end no pizza, no nothing.. extremely poor management, perhaps is a lack of supervision from directors. 00:25a.m. I’m leaving the Dominos store and heading to Taco...
